Pointless post of the week (but just for completeness):
Sunrise won last week in all markets, nationally by a margin just under 200,000.
Current status Today: 18, Sunrise 8

What will be interesting is to see any effect of this longer term on whether the Olympic Sunrise will re-convert some old Sunrise viewers who may have gone over to Today recently.

There has already been a trend back to Sunrise since about the beginning of June, so it will be interesting to see if that is reinforced.
The ratings for Today last week were just 12,000 lower than the previous week. That might suggest that there werenât a lot of converts; or if there were, Today may have also picked up some usual Sunrise viewers who didnât want to watch it last week for what ever reason.

Monday (22.08.16): Despite Olympic Sunrise continuing, Mark Beretta is back in the studio this morning. Eddy though is still in Rio.
Tuesday (23.08.16): Whilst 90% of the Olympic Sunrise graphics are gone this morning, the opener is yet to be reverted back. Brekky Central has now also returned to the wood âfloorsâ. Eddy is still in transit so Nelson is doing Entertainment this am.
Wednesday (24.08.16): David Koch and Mark Beretta are live from Sydney airport for the arrival back home of the Olympians. Sam Armytage is anchoring back at Brekky Central with Nat on the news.

A big celebrity is joining Weekend Sunrise - to be announced tomorrow morning at 7.55.
As in joining the team? Or appearing as a guest?
I thought Sam said a special guest,but l only watched a few minutes so l could be wrong.

I saw the promo just after 6 and the team knew nothing about it so they were just throwing ideas around. Obviously they would have found out more, so I am not too sure.

After two weeks on hiatus, Weekend Sunrise has returned with more adjustments to the format.

I watched yesterdayâs Cash Cow segment and Sam did say maybe the Cash Cow is the special guest on Weekend Sunrise.

Cash doesnât build from Saturday to Sunday. $20k didnât go off so goes back to $10k tomorrow.
Money must be tight now that itâs everyday of the week.
