Matt Tinney has presented Sunrise updates pretty much during every news update for Sunrise including the weekend since the fires began. Crosses to Blake Johnson and Grant Wynne.
I actually haven’t loved the local coverage being done this way.

Another newbie - Pete Wells from Sydney Weekender.
I don’t get it. I mean… Eddy is incredibly popular so I cannot imagine her job was every in any jeopardy if that was what they were worried about. The merry go round has been insane the last few weeks.

[/quote] Well Bec has done the same too. On Sunday she read the 6pm Melbourne news and then travelled to Sydney fro Sunrise. And on Monday, she went back to Melbourne to do something with the Tennis. Mark Beretta was live from AFL Headquarters this morning.

How long have they re-introduced the “Studio 52” opener? I know Boland introduced it for the opener in 2012 but I thought it was scrapped in late 2014/early 2015.
I don’t understand that thinking. Why use one anchor to do all of that?

Options. Of course I don’t expect Mike to do all of them at once, that would be stupid, but as the Morning and Arvo news’ have finished until Feb, Amor won’t be able to present.
