All breakfast shows were down on Tuesday with Sunrise ahead of Today but almost 70k. Today was ahead of ABC Breakfast by 7,000.

Sunrise was up yesterday from Tuesday. That put it 100k ahead of Today that was just 3k ahead of News Breakfast.

Sunrise and Today posted their lowest audiences of the week. Sunrise was ahead of second placed News Breakfast by 60,000. Today’s big prize announcement saw the show fall 40,000 behind News Breakfast and 100k behind Sunrise.

For the week all breakfast show averages were slightly lower than the previous week. Sunrise was ahead of News Breakfast that again placed second by 90,000. News Breakfast had the edge over Today by just 2,000.

Yes - by winning Friday by such a big margin - they were 3rd on the other days. The house giveaway was poison for Today.

Weekend Sunrise made the top 20 with 375,000 viewers on Saturday. That was +130,000 ahead of Today. Today was 10k ahead of News Breakfast’s 2 channel number.
Worth noting that since News Breakfast is now shown on ABC’s main channel on Saturday’s the viewing number have soared but that more people still watch the show on ABC News channel than the main channel; the opposite to weekday editions. Old habits are hard to break or people aren’t yet aware.

All breakfast show topped 300k on Sunday. Sunrise was about 50k ahead of News Breakfast that was 1.5 k ahead of Today

Sunrise hit a 2020 high on Monday. It was almost 110,000 ahead of Today that was beaten by News Breakfast by 1.6k. Sunrise won every market with an audience in Sydney well above 100k.

This morning, David Woiwod was incorrectly addressed on the supers as “Sunrise correspondent”. Not a major blooper, given this has happened several times before.
I’ve also noticed that in recent months, Tamra Bow has become a second/backup reporter for the Queensland market, in the same manner that Woiwod is the secondary/backup reporter in Melbourne.
Sunrise made the top 20 on Tuesday despite dropping from Monday’s high. The show was 80k ahead of News Breakfast that was in second place and 100k ahead of Today.

Amanda Abate has also been used. I think it’s more about who’s available at the Gold Coast bureau, especially with the QLD border closing.
