Sunrise won Monday’s ratings by just over 40,000 as Today recorded its second highest (weekday) audience of the year. Today won in Sydney and Brisbane though Sunrise was still well ahead in Melbourne.
Wednesday (29.01.2020): Sam is presenting Showbiz today, filling in for Nelson.
Sunrise won Tuesday’s ratings by 60,000 with an increased audience from the public holiday on Monday. Today remained above 200k and won in the Sydney market. Compared to Tuesday 29 Jan 2019, Sunrise was up 10k and Today was down 3k.
Sunrise won Wednesday’s breakfast battle by almost 60,000 as both shows posted their best numbers so far this week. Today had a narrow in in Brisbane but Sunrise surged by 15k in Sydney to win that and the other markets.
that wording sounds like it was very forced. sam and kochie didnt even do a voice over for it . sometimes sunrise can have a holier than thou attitude and there wasnt even a refrence made to it by sam or kochie.
It was part of a defamation claim settlement. It was always going to be formally worded, and Seven were always going to sneak it into the broadcast without drawing attention to it

Sunrise won Thursday over 60,000, its largest margin of the week. Sunrise won all markets though Today stayed over 200k. Sunrise had its biggest weekday Melbourne and Brisbane audiences since the start of the AO.

Oh Sunrise! Either clean or replace that white couch! Basil and Mon were sitting towards the right hand side and the very end of it is brown! If I can see that on tele, it must be gross in real life!!

Across the week, Sunrise was ahead by almost 60,000 and won every market, rating highest in Melbourne. Compared to Week 5 last year, Sunrise was up 8,000 and Today was up 13,000.
