Natalie Barr has been quite settled in Sydney for more than 20 years (possibly closer to 25) now?
A return to the West doesn’t seem likely, although far stranger things have happened before…

She moved to Sydney in 1994, according to Wikipedia. She had previously worked in Los Angeles as well.
She has also (occasionally) presented Sunrise Perth News whenever Matt Tinney is away.
I also had no idea Sharyn Ghidella was a native Queenslander until she moved to Brisbane to present Seven News on weekends in 2007.
Can anyone differentiate between “Sunrise Correspondent” (Nathan Templeton) and “Sunrise Reporter” (David Woiwod)? Both men are basically doing the same thing, reporting news from Melbourne.
The way I see it, though, is that Templeton has a more larger role as some of his reports also pop up on Weekend Sunrise.
They will have same responsibilities. It will be just one of the titles will refer to the main or chief reporter in that city and the other reporter is used as a sublet on busy news days; when both are rostered. I would say that correspondent is the senior title- check what Bianca Stone has.
Also the difference l see between the correspondent and reporter role is the state correspondent is full time whereas the reporter is not on daily.
Not to mention Tim McMillan presented Nine News Perth solo from 2013 to pretty much the first half of 2014 (April) solo with Libby Stone appointed followed by Emmy Kubainski.
If anything @NewsAustralia is right about that list. Paula Voce and Rick Ardon would work well. But Rick solo would probably be the first option.
Bianca Stone is officially “Sunrise Correspondent” in Queensland, though I have seen in recent weeks Michelle Tapper (reporter) and Leisa Goddard (reporter) have been utilised as well. Joel Dry is also a back-up, though he is currently on holidays.
I’ve also noticed that David Woiwod can sometimes be used on all five days if Nathan Templeton is on leave (like last week) or on assignment elsewhere.
Basically Melbourne warrants two reporters. They both work full time for Sunrise and The Morning Show.
Friday 31 May -
Nat hosting with Sam and Eddy reading news and entertainment.
105k + ahead of TODAY yesterday
Simon and Basil away next weekend; Sally away Sunday.
Thoughts on replacements?
Susannah Carr replaces Basil that would fitting imo
Nathan Templeton might fill in for Simon.
Filling in for Basil could be Mike Amor or Matt Doran,Michael Usher, Mark Riley… Plenty of possibilities
News on Sunday could be Angie Asimus.
Looks like they have added the words sunrise to the desk wince the 2016 relaunch.
They added that very soon after the relaunch, possibly after just a few weeks IIRC.
Michelle and Lisa are both freelancers.
I’d say correspondent is the senior role and reporter the junior role. Just like 7 News has US and UK bureau chiefs and reporters.
