Yeah. Not particularly PC of me but I struggle to see the point of him being there. Probably a great talent in his field of expertise but he clearly isn’t suited to fronting live morning television.

One of the strangest casting decisions in this field at least in recent TV history. Going back a bit, it reminds me of Jacki MacDonald reading TVQ 0 news.

WIN crash into Studio 10 at 8.30, so since I was in Sydney last night, thought I’d watch the 8am opener this morning.
For those who didn’t know, Narelda opens the show with about 4-5 minutes of news, before the Studio 10 opener and Sarah and Tristan at the couch.
But the show didn’t start until 8.03. The show needs to start at 8.00 on the dot. This only turns more people away. Sarah and Tristan appeared at around 8.08.
There were a couple of jokes directed at Sarah in the opener this morning. She was in Melbourne over the weekend visiting a friend.

I still think they should be on air from 8am everyday and finishing earlier if need be. For example, sporting events or even a one off events.

7-11 makes the most sense but it’s still an incredibly long shift when Sarah has the carry the show.
Sarah Harris and her husband are taking some time apart.
It’s interesting, Karl got a lot of shit said about him in the press and the audience were mostly positive about him but when it’s a high profile woman the press are nice (for now) but the DM comments are disgusting.
Using 10 News branding for the coverage that was introduced by Narelda and Studio 10 branding when introduced by Sarah and Tristan.

Because he’s a Ten reporter? I haven’t heard of him before. Maybe you should explain why you have a problem with him. Google tells me he has been a journalist for five years.

Yeah, he’s a journalist. Has worked for ABC and other media outlets before joining Studio 10.
Didn’t see you in the Sunrise thread asking why the fuck Sam Mac was used this morning to report on the the floods too?

Yeah, Studio 10’s roving reporter is basically a fluff and entertainment reporter.
