Studio 10

Only if her radio show was axed too. Lisa could make a comeback?

Guess itā€™s a coincidence that @TV.Cynic happened to reupload this montage of Studio 10 cyclone coverage from early 2017.

Great and promising era for the show then.

No thanks. Lisa can stay away.

Sheā€™s damaged goods, why have her back?

So 10 have said the main talent remains at the network - so what are the going to do with Tristan?

The Circle ran from February 2010 to August 2012.

Is that really necessary? What on earth would make you say like that about someone.

Heā€™s regularly seen as a sideline reporter for 10 Football, interviews and hosting the Round Ball Rules vodcast etc.

Guess weā€™ll see what else if/when itā€™s announced.

Her recent drunk driving charge for one. I wouldnā€™t want to hire someone like her with that hanging over her head. And look how she was let go from the ABC. She screwed her own career. Ten should stay clear of her. Period.

IMO, from best to worst at 10 over the past three decades:

GMA (14 years to 2005)
The Circle (3 years 2010 to 2012)
Studio 10 (10.5 years 2013 to 2023)
9am with David and Kim (4 years 2006 to 2009)

Yeah nah, plenty of people every day make mistakes similar to that - she is human too.

Not excusing what she did, but there were clearly other things at play there for her.

And her being let go from the ABC under the circumstances was ridiculous, but thatā€™s the life of a contractor.

Think before you write, that truly is a horrible way to describe someone you donā€™t even know.

I think sheā€™s great. But damaged goods is prob exactly how network execs at rivals 7 and 9 see her

Plenty of high profile media personalities have had similar offences (e.g. Jo Hall, Darren Wick etc), yet they havenā€™t lost their jobs or left over their respective incidents anyway.

And as for the ABC incident, it couldā€™ve happened to anyone and to her credit she recovered better than most wouldā€™ve. Anyone who suggests oneā€™s career is screwed over something as trivial as that needs to think again.

I donā€™t think Ten plan on an immediate replacement next year from what I read. They look to be focusing on improving their afternoon daytime lineup, which sounds the right move as they have always struggled to compete with Seven and Nineā€™s morning shows.

Ten have tried really hard to come up with a good replacement for GMA.

Nice words from Deb, who herself would be going through a difficult time:

I think she has talent. But when her outside distractions interfears with her performance as a new reader, and is in the headlines for the wrong reasons, I question whether she would be able to work for the major broadcasters, given her history. Just saying.

Well damaged goods is the most appropriate name for her and people have said far more hurtful things to other presenters here, so I am not going to be lectured by you killy06.

Tristian and Angela for im a celeb please

Great justification there.

Here is the Email sent to staff at around 1pm Tuesday according to the Daily Mail.

Also would they have enough content to make some episodes similar to the weekend edition. It would be a suitable option while they work on a morning line up.

They could also probably move The Talk to a later time like 9am.

Quite surprised theyā€™re going right through to Christmas rather than ending it earlier.
