*** AN APOLOGY ***
Hey guys,
Tomorrow I start on a planned week of annual leave, otherwise I would have addressed this on the show first thing in the morning.
However given the understandable hurt I have caused, I did not want to wait a week to publicly apologise.
This morning during a discussion about rating doctors online, I made an utterly stupid comment about people with Borderline Personality disorder. It was a pathetic attempt at humour which failed spectacularly.
It was careless, horrible and ignorant. I am deeply ashamed of the hurt I have caused, particularly on a date like World Mental Health Day.
Anyone who follows me on the show or on social media will know this kind of comment was completely out of character for me. I have been very open about my own mental health struggles and the importance of getting help.
This, in a way, only makes things worse. I should have known better. I do know better. And I will do better.
Please accept my sincerest apologies.

Ange finally told Joe off for yelling today.
It was quite well done too.

Angela hosting with Narelda Jacobs, Richard Reid and Joe on the panel .
Charlotte Goodlet is reading news updates this morning.
Charlotte is fantastic and gets the balance of serious newsreader and banter just right. A rising star to watch I reckon.
Narelda on the panel is also great.

New daily preview before the show starts:
Sounds very laid back, which is great.
Some fairly big guests in studio today - Tim Cahill and Remi Hii and Jacob Batalon from Spiderman: Far From Home.
And yet the studio audience is still half empty and half asleep. I know it’s seems like a small thing but honestly the energy of the panel definitely increases when there’s a bigger audience.
Would it help if they brought the audience in from 9:30am onwards and went more news-centric for the first hour?
That’s probably because they are asleep. theyre old ![]()
Sarah is back from holidays on Monday.
Do they have the same warm-up guy? That’s an easy fix.
But the audience size is much less these days. They are lucky to get over 10 people. In the past, they’ve had up to 90 people!
If they still give away prizes all 10 get a prize?
