With Narelda on for the next few weeks, I wonder if Ang is now on Holidays. She hasnt been on since tuesday/Wednesday after the emmys IIRC

I understand the idea of getting Narelda to read the news (to keep it within the 10 News brand) but I think I would have preferred Narelda hosting and to get a junior on news, with Sarah sick today.

In the dentist waiting room watching this mess. Within a few seconds - ‘in 2010 a law became law’. Uh? ‘there’s a fine of $300 in France’. France doesn’t use dollars.

The 8.30 news was much better this morning because it was only 3 minutes in duration. It was succinct but still comprehensive. Not necessary to have 8-10 minutes news updates on a morning show. Spend more time dicussing hot topics as it is their main point of difference.

It’s not uncommon for news to report things in local currency, it happens all the time. Someone would have just done the conversion from Euros so it’s relatable to local audiences.

It was great to have Denise Scott back on the show today,she was the only highlight of this morning’s panel for me.
She is also on tomorrow’s show plus her special report from the Royal Melbourne Show.

She saved the show today because the rest was nonsense. KAK was so bad as host. She can’t read the autocue properly and then feels that she needs to elaborate and explain every point in a nonsensical manner as though the audience is stupid. The only stupid one is her. She’s become as intolerable as Daryl Somers. They feel some sense of entitlement to be in TV because of past glories but now they’re just annoying and talentless.
