Stranded on Honeymoon Island Australia

Really? I couldn’t find it on YouTube.

Seven and PerthNow have launched a new WA viewer competition to promote the show.

Yeah I think you are confusing with the American version. There is limited info I could find online about the Australian version, except I did read that a Chad won and he turned out to be straight. From the pics they do look similar. My friend picked this up literally by recognising him in a promo. Good memory

This show was actually half decent. Great trash TV. Shows that MAFS to shame with the ridiculous editing and bimbos throwing wine over each other.

Matched, married and Stranded On Honeymoon Island

Chemistry, personality clashes and past fears wash ashore in search for love

Tonight on Seven and 7plus, six brave souls seeking love entered into a wild, crazy dating experience unlike any other in Stranded On Honeymoon Island .

The adventure began with a speed dating event of 20 rapid-fire dates, each lasting just two minutes. The catch? No names, no occupations, just pure chemistry. Couples were then matched based on compatibility and chemistry, plus their ability to grow together and challenge each other’s relationship hang-ups.

Next step: marriage. After exchanging vows, the newlyweds will spend the next 21 days stranded on Honeymoon Island. Each couple will be on a separate island, completely isolated from the world: no phones, no luxuries, and no easy escape.

Confident influencer Amy, 30, is a true believer in love but endured a string of failed relationships, making her wary of her romantic instincts. Amy felt an immediate spark with Haydn, 29, whom she dubbed “salmon jacket man bun” during speed dating, but was instead matched with motorsports presenter Mike, 37.

Initially disappointed, Amy embraced the experience, realising she needed someone who could challenge her: “Maybe stranded on an island together, something could grow. What could possibly go wrong?” Amy asked.

Things took a turn for the worse when they arrived on their island, as Mike’s old-fashioned views on gender roles rubbed strong-willed and independent Amy the wrong way.

Mike lives his life by something his dad told him: “It’s a man’s job to make a woman feel loved, and in turn, she will respect you.”

As Amy cut up her wedding dress, Mike tried to joke and flirt, but Amy was not feeling it.

Byron, 33, was matched with Brie, 28, who has never been in love. With an undeniable connection at their wedding, Brie and Byron approached their island, taking a literal leap of faith, jumping into the ocean and swimming ashore together.

Byron, who lost his mum to breast cancer at 15, reflected: “The reason why I haven’t had long relationships in my life is probably because I have always been on the go. I’ve just pushed the dating life aside, but finding love is important to me because I saw how much my mum loved dad, and how much joy he brought her. That’s what I want.”

Serial dater Brie admitted her fear of commitment had kept her running from love: “As much as I am scared of commitment, I am ready to fall in love.”

The pair were off to a fairytale start with Byron taking in his stride Brie’s lack of survival skills. However, as Brie settled into island life she started to pull away, fearing she would self-sabotage this perfect match.

Chad, 46, admitted he hasn’t been able to commit to love as he is deeply involved in caring for his sister, who was born with special needs: “My family situation complicates my dating life. I think I invest a lot of emotional bandwidth in my mum and sister.”

Georgia, 35, finds the idea of marriage “very scary” after being left at the altar three days out from her destination wedding: “Last time I was in paradise, I got my heart broken, but if I let that experience define me I will never have that beautiful relationship I’ve always dreamt of.”

Chad was instantly reassured when Georgia walked down the aisle: “As soon as I saw her, I knew everything was going to be alright.”

Georgia beamed: “You can leave me stranded with him. It’s totally fine.” Their chemistry was undeniable as they shared a kiss on their first night, but they also agreed to take it slow to ensure they could build a strong connection.

Throughout their Stranded On Honeymoon Island experience, couples will receive crates containing surprises, tests and relationship challenges to help them accelerate their bond and navigate their way to love.

After 24 hours, the first crate arrived, containing heartfelt messages from family and friends. Brie’s brother urged her to tackle her commitment fears, inspiring an emotional Brie to be more open with Byron.

Mike’s video contained some home truths from his ex, which empowered Amy to confront Mike on his toxic behaviour and “underlying misogyny.”

Mike struggled to understand Amy’s “harsh” words, stating: “The whole time I was just trying to be nice and just do what men should do in this situation, but it is what it so moving on.”

Amy surmised: “I’m not romantically feeling it. I don’t even think we’re there as friends yet.”

Tuned in to see the show since it was kind of intriguing with the concept and to see how the show would be. It was actually not bad.

“Finding chemistry is easy, but falling in love is hard”

Instant attraction and island bombshells as three new couples are Stranded On Honeymoon Island

Tonight on Seven and 7plus, three new couples took a once-in-a-lifetime leap in Stranded On Honeymoon Island .

The chemistry continued to spark for last night’s newlyweds Georgia and Chad, and Brie and Byron; while tension simmered between Amy and Mike.

Emily, 28 and single for seven years, was matched with Tom, 29. Tearfully, she shared: “I’m constantly getting ghosted. No matter what I try and do, I always end up single and alone.”

Tom admitted he can be a “closed book” and hoped to find someone who could break down his walls. Emily was instantly attracted to her “dream guy,” but Tom didn’t feel the spark and her attempts at flirting were met with distance.

Tom acknowledged this would be the time he’d usually cut things off and run, but there’s nowhere to hide on honeymoon island.

Triggered by past experiences, Emily resolved not to give up as Tom offered a glimmer of hope, asserting he wanted to break his pattern of running away.

Dani, 35 and ready to settle down, was paired with Emanuel, 33, who’s tired of superficial relationships. While Dani was thrilled with her “super-hot” husband, Emanuel didn’t remember her from speed dating.

A wild storm shut down conversation, but the next day, their bond grew. “We have a very similar outlook on life,” Emanuel said. “I’m starting to see why we’ve been stranded on this island together.”

Jess, a 38-year-old relationship coach who struggles to follow her own advice, married Sam, 31, who arrived “the best version of himself” after a three-month detox from alcohol, partying, and sex.

“Finding chemistry is easy, but falling in love is hard,” Jess admitted. Swept up in immediate attraction, they shared a passionate kiss after their vows, and the affection flowed from there.

Despite their physical connection, Sam asked to slow things down, leaving Jess confused and worried he was losing interest. Later, a heartfelt message from Sam’s mum left him emotional, reflecting on the loss of his father.

Reassured, Jess said: “I know chemistry fades. I came here to build a strong foundation.”

Meanwhile, Amy and Mike tried to reset after their confrontation.

Amy stood her ground, glad she spoke up. Mike, hurt, said he’d never been called a misogynist before. “I’m all good to take accountability for stuff I’ve done if it made her feel bad,” he said, insisting he was just trying to be chivalrous.

With strong personalities, Mike admitted that their dynamic is tough.

The next day, the honeymooners received their first invite to meet at Couples Cove. Emily dropped a bombshell: she’d matched with Mike on a dating app and blocked him after “very vulgar comments.”

“When I saw him at speed dating, it blew my mind” she said. “Fingers crossed he’s not at Couples Cove. He’s just icky, and I don’t want him there.”

Emily vowed that if Mike showed up, she wouldn’t hesitate to tell his wife about her experience.

I assume the Tuesday episode will be bumped, once a suitable 730pm replacement is found.
Pointless leaving it there, if they are bumping Mondays because of last nights performance.

It was never going to rate at 7.30pm. The show was filmed in 2023 so they clearly didn’t have much hope in it for them to shelve it for so long. It always should have launched post 8.30pm.

Agree and i reckon everyone here does too. Even when it was announced 2 years ago, i dont think i saw anyone saying it would be a hit.

The first couple of episodes were fairly dull and uneventful. Perhaps the show picks up over time but viewers weren’t interested enough to give it a chance. The similarities to MAFS were also striking even down to the commentary style mimicking the inflections of the original. That can turn people off. In the end it wasn’t different enough and viewers have had their MAFS fix for the year.

Secrets, showers and shockwaves

The first Couples Cove rocks Stranded On Honeymoon Island

Tonight on Seven and 7plus, Tom’s late-night confession rocked Couples Cove, Emily and Mike’s past resurfaced, and Brie and Byron steamed up the shower on Stranded On Honeymoon Island.

Amy and Mike were in limbo after a rocky start, sparked by Amy confronting him over past misogyny. Though Mike’s ego took a hit, they agreed to work on communication and found renewed unity.

They arrived at Couples Cove united, unaware Emily – Mike’s former dating app match – would be there. Emily previously called Mike’s comments “vulgar” and vowed to expose him.

Overnight, Tom dropped a bombshell on Emily, confessing he has a secret girlfriend on the outside and was only participating for the experience.

Devastated, Emily said: “I feel betrayed. I feel hurt, I feel lied to.”

Brie’s commitment issues came to a head again as Byron challenged her usual dating patterns. His kindness and sincerity sent her into flight mode but with nowhere to run, she faced her fears head-on.

Brie and Byron’s spark ignited as they shared a steamy shower, hinting at more romance to come.

Although the speed dating event brought all the castaways together, none knew who else had been matched as they headed to Couples Cove, eager to meet the other couples.

Emily confided in the other women about Tom’s secret girlfriend on the outside.

Furious, Brie confronted Tom in front of the group. He denied being in a relationship outside the show, clarifying he was seeing someone “casually” for a few months before coming to honeymoon island.

“I think coming on this show has made me recognise there are feelings inside, so that’s been hard for me to process,” Tom explained.

Emily wasn’t buying it: “That’s not what you said the other night.”

Tom tried to explain, stating he was confused about his feelings. Byron attempted to mediate, which disappointed Brie, who felt Tom needed to be held accountable.

Emily, once again in tears, felt the sting of rejection and betrayal. As the women rallied around her, Tom’s dishonesty caused a rift in the group, but the drama didn’t stop there.

“I haven’t been completely honest with Emily and everyone else,” Tom admitted later.

He revealed that the story about the girl on the outside was a fabrication to avoid getting intimate with Emily.

Tom said: “I lied to her, I said I had feelings for someone else, but that’s just not true. Sometimes I just blurt out white lies when I feel pressured or scared.”

After apologising to Emily, Tom still couldn’t admit for sure that he felt a spark with her or if he was ready to give their relationship a real chance.

Meanwhile, Amy shared with the girls that she had confronted Mike about his behaviour.

That’s when Emily dropped her bombshell, admitting: “I met Mike prior to the speed dating night. Your comment about him being misogynist is exactly, exactly the vibe I got from him.”

Amy was shaken. She called it “another blow to what we are trying to build here” but didn’t confront Mike – at least not yet.

“We’ve been matched for a reason. I want to give him a chance and keep an open mind. That’s really the reason we’re here,” Amy reflected.

“I’m just going to use this information as ammo should I need it down the track,” she added.

Tuesday night on Stranded On Honeymoon Island: The fallout from Couples Cove continues to ripple through the island before a spicy new crate sends temperatures skyrocketing.

Stranded On Honeymoon Island Continues 7.30pm Tuesday

Skinny dips and second chances

Intimacy crates turn up the heat on honeymoon island

Tonight on Stranded On Honeymoon Island on Seven and 7plus, the arrival of intimacy crates turned up the heat, taking our couples to bold new emotional and physical heights.

Each island received a crate filled with body chocolate, sensual props, and deep conversation starters designed to build emotional and physical connection.

Despite Tom’s Couples Cove admission that he lied about having someone on the outside to sabotage this relationship with Emily, he insisted was on Honeymoon Island for the right reasons and wanted to give it a real chance.

Though hesitant, Emily agreed to a fresh start, but thought diving headfirst into the intimacy crate was a step too far. They skipped the props, opting for wine and question cards. Eventually, Emily used Tom’s wildcard to ask for a kiss, leading to a bashful, full-blown kiss.

Jess and Sam were in crisis following the fraught Couples Cove, where Sam felt Jess didn’t have his back. They argued, resulting in Sam going missing for hours and worrying Jess.

Their crate’s arrival had surprising insights into how many sexual partners both have had. Their numbers match: both around 100. Against all odds, this – along with their intimacy needs – bonded them, ending their day in a steamy kiss.

On Dani and Emanuel’s island, the crate triggered Dani’s buried insecurities. In tears, she confessed that she felt Emanuel was out of her league.

Emanuel reassured “smoking hot” Dani that he was very attracted to her looks, personality, and mind.

Their vulnerability created a new level of intimacy as they explored the contents of their crate and went for a skinny dip.

Amy and Mike put their previous struggles behind them, developing a new level of respect after staying on mature terms at Couples Cove.

They embraced the crate with playful enthusiasm, proving anything can happen in 24 hours on honeymoon island.

Loved-up Georgia and Chad’s ever-rising sexual tension bubbled over. Fuelled by their crate, Chad gave Georgia a steamy massage, reiterating their physical chemistry.

After Brie’s reaction to Tom at the table yesterday raised a “red flag” for easy-going Byron, the intimacy crate was far from perfect timing for him.

Brie was at the opposite end of the scale, keen to move even faster physically, but their crate unboxed a major blindside for Brie when Byron admitted he hadn’t thought about her sexually.

Confused, Brie’s spiral of doubts set in and she turned to escape mode. After some time alone, Brie and Byron came back together as he explained he wants to continue to get to know her; that’s where intimacy and attraction grow for him.

Reaching a new level of understanding, a swim and a kiss set a clean slate for Brie and Byron.
