State/Territory Election Coverage

Thanks TV.Cynic

A massive drop in viewers after the news, particularly for 7.
Makes you wonder if it was worth the effort for so little viewers.
Nine really are trying hard to re-establish themselves as a credible news service after years of neglect from Sunraysia & Win. No real signs it’s working yet, but I’m sure NEC will persevere until they make significant ground.

I mean, if Seven averaged 74k and Nine did 59k, that’s a decent margin. Seven still wiped during their normal bulletin, but they lost 99k from news to coverage whilst Nine lost 22k.

That isn’t a bad result for Nine. Not great, but encouraging.

How could TEN not have Election Night in WA? Because of ratings on Saturday?
I thought WA never had state elections on TEN.

That is a very decent result for Nine compared with Seven.

Probably because they didn’t do much more than a couple of updates for the Federal Election last year, nor the Queensland and New South Wales State Elections in 2015.
