Looks like there are issues with the eastern grandstand at Newcastle’s Mc Donald Jones stadium.
The top deck is empty despite the rest of the ground being packed solid for the Knights v Panthers game today (you can also just see some scaffolding at the southern end of that stand).
There are issues with the roofing
And will be fine for at least the home leg of the A-League major semi. And possibly the GF.

Had my first experience of Win Stadium last Saturday. Didn’t realise you cant wander freely around the place. If you are General Admission you stay on the hill that backs onto the beach. Couldn’t get a coffee there. Also there is a fence behind the hill so you cant stroll onto the beach during half time.
Also i will be interested to see what the TikTok Centre is like on Monday Night. Going to see Split Enz
