Spicks and Specks is back! There’s a whole new g-g-g- generation of musicians to celebrate,andfresh
comedians to bring the good times. Host Adam Hills will bring alive the sounds of music trivia on
Australia’s most popular music quiz show. And see that girl Myf Warhurst stealthescene, opposite
Alan Brough who will take your breath away with his music knowledge.

This season it is a happy half hour again. What a good place to be!

Joining our team captains are Anthony Callea, Montaigne, Abbie Chatfield, Tommy Little, Hamish
Blake, Gillian Cosgriff, Courtney Act, ShaneJacobson,JennyTian, Elly-May Barnes, Big Wett, Dan
Sultan, Mark Seymour, Steph Tisdell, Ella Hooper, Claire Hooper­ More, more, more,you cry out!

Well,you will be struck like thunder by our music acts - TISM, Ruby Gill, Folk Bitch Trio, The
Bamboos, Lime Cordiale, Gut Health and the DMAs. That’s a lot of bands to have on this run.
The show will have the usual games without frontiers - Know Your Product, Final Countdown and
Substitute along with some new sensations.

In Secret Song Adam will drop references to a particular song each episode, leaving Alan or Myf
looking for clues. It’s worth 5 points, one of them may take it all. But in the end, everyone will
be a winner.

Update for episode 1

The first episode back for this series is a firecracker. It’s a real list of big names – Anthony Callea, Steph Tisdell, Tommy Little and Yve Blake. There will be questions about Aussie Belters, Musicals Fan Art, a traditional Guzheng ensemble plus the secret song performed by the Burnt Sausages. What will that song be? Tune in to find out.

Episode 2

Sunday 16 June 7.30pm

Dan Sultan, Lou Wall, Nina Korbe and Dave O’Neil join Adam, Myf and Alan in a who-knows-what of music trivia.
There will be bangers, smashes, blinders and delights sprinkled throughout with a healthy dose of Cover Versions, weird collabs and a not-to-be-missed Substitute.

Sunday 23 June 7.30pm

Hosts Adam Hills, Myf and Alan are joined by Montaigne, Nooky, Zoe Coombs-Marr and Greg Larson. They will listen to some music, watch some videos and play some bells, but can they guess the secret song before Lime Cordiale plays it?

I’m looking forward to the season return this Sunday. Can’t believe its been around for so long. And still fresh.

Sunday 30 June 7.30pm

Adam Hills turns into the Riddler as he taunts Alan, Myf, Bec Charlwood, Dilruk Jayasinha, Groundhog Day’s Elise McCann and Lime Cordiale’s Oli Leimbach with tough clues that will anger your family. Special guest appearance by violinist Xani.

Sunday 7 July 7.30pm

Emily Wurramara, Claire Hooper, Ella Hooper and Brett Blake join Adam, Myf and Alan as they hit such musical heights they have to go into falsetto by the end of it. There will be R&B, Irish music, misheard lyrics and some unfortunate innuendos. Ruby Gill ends the show by taking on a haunting cover.

Adam, Myf and Alan are joined by Ross Noble, Ngaiire, Eamon Sandwith from the Chats, Meshel Laurie and Ghost Medium. They will sell their jewellery to solve this week’s secret song.

Ben Northey from the MSO and Athina from Gut Health are guests this week with Cam James and Peter Helliar. Plus the Bamboos guest star playing Look What They’ve Done To My Song Ma and the Closer – a killer version of the secret song.
