ARN telling it like it is!

Since Anchorage pulled out primarily because of the (falling) SCA TV regional numbers, we’ve had some strong interest in partnering with ARN and we will assess those leads in the next few weeks,” he said.

“SCA were incredibly slow to appoint advisers at the beginning and formally engage with us but they were quick to rebuff us without actually (considering) a formal second proposal.

“SCA was slow to appoint advisers and they were challenging to deal with…”

Why would SCA formally assess a proposal that leaves them with assets they don’t want, only 36% of a platform they built, and all of the institutional risks?

“Telling it like it is”… nah, McLennan has rocks in his head.

Melanie Withnall, SCA’s head of news and information, and Jennifer Goggin, LiSTNR’s head of factual and drama have left the broadcaster.

De facto head of corporate communications, Rochelle Burbury has also confirmed that she resigned the SCA account at the start of June. She will finish up at the end of July.

a whole lot of off-topic and nasty posts have been removed. Stick to the topic and be civil. This is not hard to do.

Listnr is a dog of an app. Those involved have been on the gravy train. The train has stopped and the free ride has ended.

This is a good saving for the company. Most of those departing won’t be missed.

Just looking through the new Hit & Triple M websites - interesting they are essentially directing listeners to the LiSTNR website.

The new sites are just an expansion of the LiSTNR website.

Which is a shame, as I quite enjoyed the individual Show pages and schedule listings. Surely there is more still to come.

This new layout & new features reminds me of the current Nova & Smooth websites.

I feel ARN have the most traditional websites these days - with individual show pages & show info (which is what I prefer).

Mind you, I wonder if we’ll one day see ARN have websites like kiis1065.iheart.com down the track…

Agree, on the regional station pages, you can’t even see who their breakfast hosts are.

In 2024, B105 will be the naming rights sponsor of Sideshow Alley – filled with extreme, spooky and family-friendly rides – as well as the Kids Carnival.

Listeners will also have chances to win Ekka tickets on B105 by tuning into the Stav, Abby & Matt Breakfast show and throughout the workday.

Yet 4BC have long been spruiking they will be at the show with dayshifts via OB for the whole show as has happened in previous years since Nine’s acquisition.

They still can be. ABC Brisbane are also going to be there as per usual.

Yes, it’s usually a free for all, the RNA believe they need all the help they can get.

I don’t mind that… being/having an exclusive broadcast partner isn’t necessarily a good thing… I like when you see more broadcasters having a presence at a event, it makes it feel more special, more of an event.

In other words, “we know our TV assets are shite and the sooner we can get rid of them, the happier we’ll be…”

Should it be “Fakes” momentum instead of “Takes” in the below ASX release header???

Revenue down / Expenses up / EBITDA down / NPAT huge loss / Divvy slashed / Share price graph like a downhill ski run.

Yeah great momentum…
