Lol funny. Although he is actually surprisingly chatty. He co-hosts Magic FM Londonâs breakfast show with Harriet Scott, and she often canât get a word in

For the last few hours the traffic report before the news here in Sydney hasnât been playing out properly. The backing music plays then the actual report obviously didnât configure their automation software properly. But you would have thought you would pick it up when it first happened and fix it and not have it repeated every hour. Good if you want a clean copy of the backing music however.

It does surprise me how little attention NE seem to pay to Smooth in general. As you say youâd think they would pick stuff like that up and fix it pretty quickly. I often wonder what is going on with them. They also seem to be all over the place with their DAB offerings in the other capitals and spend ziltch on promotion.

Very sad I did notice that Glenn Daniel was away for a few weeks recently with Ron Wilson replacing him on the breakfast show with Bogart.

Very sad news that Glenn Daniel has died, especially at this time of year.
Glennâs many decadesâ broadcasting will survive and provides a useful exemplar for journalists.
Gone too soon. Glenn had valiantly seen off many challenges to his health and whilst his family knew best his illness, it will still be a shock.
In Australia of 2021, dying in your 60âs is far too young.
Best wishes to Glennâs family and friends.

Yes I found it annoying a few months ago when they became Abba obsessed and did not play the jingle. I always sing along to it.

Interesting it now makes sense why they have a competition on at the moment where you guess the end of Kimâs sentence and if you are correct you win $10, 000.
If they wish to have these competitions they should not be played every hour it gets boring very quickly and be a bit more generous with the prize momey. Have it as a breakfast competition for example.

They have previously had $100,000 prizes for Smooth stars which runs as a similar format. $10,000 is small change for Nova Entertainment Group.

Iâd suggest itâd be worth familiarising yourself with the concept of Time Spent Listening in radio and how it plays into ratings.
