Sky News

Looks like Sky has been replaced in Melbourne’s City Loop with “news” clips from MTV and promos for Channel 7’s Dance Boss. Hard pass.

See, Sky News advertising doesn’t seem so bad now after all!

Sky news in a flap about he NEG and the Paris climate agreement. Surely this is all ideologicaly based.

They keep saying Australians have had enough and people want cheap power and coal fired power stations. Who are these people? I have not heard one person say they want new coal fired power stations.

I watch sky news for pure entertainment reasons especially the night time animals.

Haha I find it laughable that they say they speak for all Australian. What rubbish!

Has anyone seen Peta Credlin advertisement for her show? I’m pretty sure she’s encouraging people who don’t have hot date to watch her show haha with a bottle of wine :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: as if anyone wants to pop her cherries lmfao

Well Sky News is part of the entertainment package so that makes sense.

haha, the evening is pure garbage entertainment… As is the Friday Show which i saw for the first time, my ears are still burning at hearing Corey Bernadi being on it for a bit … Shrudders.

The morning/afternoon news service is okay… it’s the junk after 4pm (WA Time) that is called garbarge entertainment lol

Sky news should be in with the comedy channel - watching the likes of Murray and bolt is pure comedy when they rant about lefties and Turnbull

Will sky cover the latest allegations against their pin up boy Dutton?

They’ll probably demonize ten for breaking the story.

Paul Murray is hyperventilating tonight about the liberal party tonight. Hilarious.

I think you’ll be able to post that here a good four or five more times this week

Right now Sky News has what is a one hour live infomercial for the Business Council of Australia. It’s live from Busselton which is interesting, but it is just a one hour ad for big business. It is the sort of infomercial that should be on a Sunday morning/afternoon, not in primetime … but it’s no surprise really that it is on at 8:00pm on Sky News.

I honestly feel his show is just about creating a performance and a persona for ratings. David Speers, Laura Jayes and Kieran Gilbert interviewed him this morning and he seemed pretty journalistic and did not seem quite bias/cruel than he usually does on PML.

Be on the lookout for some changes to a capital city set in the coming weeks.

It’s an act styled after his idol Stan Zemanek.

You know, Stan Zemanek would probably have a program on Sky News if he was still alive today.

News anchor Sharon McKenzie, a long-term Sky employee (stints as primetime and breakfast newsreader over the years) also a confirmed departure as of this week. Paul Murray announced it last night, saying she had laringitis on what was supposed to be her final day and was off sick.

Perth’s set was updated about a week ago. Is that what you’re referring to?

Shame. Sharon was one of the few assets left in terms of newsreaders there.
