Sky News on WIN appears to be off air. Well, on the Gold Coast it’s just showing a black screen. WIN’s other channels are working.

Sky News On WIN will now air Fox Sports News programming in the 7pm timeslot, while The Bolt Report will remain as a ‘premium’ offering for Foxtel subscribers.

I would consider The Bolt Report as a “premium” offering in the same way I’d like to be involved in a horrific car accident.

No doubt Andrew Bolt sees his opinions as being premium content whether in print, online or on TV.

Although he’s one of those media personalities I’d ignore even if News Corp paid me to consume their output!

Wondering if there’s some sort of trickery with Bolt not deliberately not being broadcast on Sky News on WIN

Does he dance too close to the line of things you can say on free to air broadcast as opposed to subscription?

Shame they couldn’t make a dedicated one hour evening program work, but revenue would have been hit hard

Someone previously suggested to me that it was on purpose (whether it be due to concerns over falling foul of ACMA or something else) - I was surprised that Sky would be willing to give away their “premium” content

I seem to remember Paul Murray saying that he was going to restrain himself during the portion of his program that was on Sky News on WIN, but then just let his mouth go during PML Later.
