Prime manages to source video for some of the stories in their Canberra news breaks, but SCA never has video.

Still terrible weather graphics.

For those of you playing at home, today’s flipper typo is:

“Coalition 56”

At least this station did change the logo on the 1st day, something I wish WIN could do with their news.

The refreshed SCA Nine updates don’t really even have a logo so to speak. Branding wise they removed the SC10 logo, changed some of the colours and changed the titlecard from an awful ripoff of Ten Eyewitness News’ titlecard to an awful ripoff of NBN News’ 2014-16 titlecard, but that’s about it really…

This is the entire local news output for the Sunshine Coast region today - total of 2 minutes from 3 updates seen during prime time - seems to be roughly same content repeated 3 times. They don’t even get weather graphics.

That’s weird. The other markets get updates from 11:30 until midnight.

It’s all beyond pathetic, seriously

1:44 in this video - Didn’t know 21 year olds could be classed as toddlers!

Blues and Maroons “announced” origin squads? Don’t they usually use current tense in the flipper - ie “announce” ?

Still god awful, I love how they used a super league ball for the Sunshine Coast Falcons loss in the Intrust Super Cup. But besides that they should do what NBN did and get all the graphics, supers and intro from Nine. I could make better graphics than SCA at age 14

A refugee from the house of bad habits: Bill Caralis’ Super Radio Network.

Ali Drower no doubt has a lot of work of her own than to comprehensively coach those with such mistakes.

There’s a new presenter for the South QLD updates - Grace Fitzgibbon.

Today’s output of local news on the Sunshine Coast across the entire day consisted on the following 3 updates shown between 7.30 and 10.30. During the total of 2 minutes broadcast, just four stories were dictated with one story repeated 3 times and another twice. The weather ticker only showed 2 locations in the broadcast area and who knows what’s happening with Maroochydore’s weather as just as the reader says “showers with a top of 19”, the OTS says had 18 with a graphic of sun and cloud . Viewers were however given an entire weather update for Brisbane during the evening.

For fuk sake these people are useless

A tree being cut down makes the news?

This is the problem when you have people 1000km away in a different state “sourcing” local news

The story selection was ridiculous (along with everything else). For example the only item that made the 30 min local 7 news was the aviator landing - but they left out what was significant ie attempting to be youngest person to fly solo around world.
