I think you managed to get off lightly this year @Techster! I finally remembered this was going to happen tonight and made sure I was able to watch it. I do love that they still spend the time to put this together each year and can all have a laugh at themselves and great to see even the pros like Kim still make mistakes!
Happy New Year Mark and all the other 7Tas lurkers, hopefully the great commitment to news in the state continues for many more years! Hope you also managed to get a bit of time off, saw you on a few of the updates the past few days though.

It’s probably going to get edited out for the YouTube version but a funny moment between Kim and Nick Kelly on the Tas bulletin tonight. At the end of the preview into sports coming up Kim accidentally tried to combine “lovely” and “thank you” so it came out as “Love you” which both picked up on at the same time and had a good laugh at - apparently Nick has just returned and recently got married too so congrats to him if he’s around these parts!
Pity Murph isn’t in the studio because he would absolutely have loved it and they’re probably keeping it secret from him in Bicheno at the moment.

Minor thing but the SCA10 weather map graphic on their noodle updates seems to have changed ever so slightly. Different font/weather icons, perhaps?

I’m not home so i haven’t seen it, but often they use a zoomed out version of the map with major state centre’s instead of region ones.
The one I saw today was the regional Southern NSW/ACT map.

Scanned the YouTube version of this bulletin, they patched it up to make it look like the blooper doesn’t exist. Shall we perhaps classify this blooper as Lost Media?

no, lost media is media that is lost forever. this would be in recordings, at the station or on people’s PVRs etc.

Then why don’t they release it to the public? Currently, the video form of this blooper is unavailable to the public. Surely someone out there has recorded this on their PVRs?

Why would they? It’s a blooper, of course they’d edit it out. Might make the Christmas blooper reel.
And yeah surely someone does, but doesn’t mean they’re on this forum or have any desire to upload it. Like it’s not that big a deal.

They don’t include the sport preview in any of the YouTube version of the bulletins, it was not deliberately edited out because of this. The YouTube bulletins only ever include local stories and intros.
