Is she the permanent weekend presenter now?

If there hasn’t been an official announcement yet I’d expect she’ll get the role.

Haven’t seen an announcement about her being the permanent one but it was mentioned at the end of last night’s bulletin by Kim that she would be on tonight.
Elizabeth O’Neill did the updates who I believe is usually in Launceston and Louise is usually in Hobart, weather was done from Launceston I believe.

Why can’t Seven Tasmania Nightly News do a Preview of the Weather before the Second Commercial Break in each One Hour Bulletin?

Why? Do you need to be told twice?

Needs to work on his English. Apparently she’s “a great edition”.

Pretty common mistake I see all the time, it’s not that hard :man_facepalming:t2:

Also thought “into the future” sounds a little strange.

He means a great addition to watch *

I’m kidding.

Such a shame they don’t actually show the set on-air. Easily the best regional set in Australia (not that there’s much competition).

Yes they do - wide shot at the top of the bulletin and often something at the end as well.

They don’t do those wide shots on the Spencer Gulf bulletin.

Quite an affordable set as-well. It’s just 1 big lightbox with a screen essentially.

I wish other regional networks would invest into some better sets like this.

No. They don’t. Tasmania does, Spencer Gulf doesn’t. Spencer Gulf is also still using graphics created in 2014 despite having the updated Tasmania graphics at their disposal.

Edit: The Tasmania-style wide shots are also completely possible on the Hobart set that is used by Spencer Gulf. It’s been done in the past when Jo occasionally presented from Hobart.
