Bathurst 12 hour race

Not often you see two live sports running on two multi-channels (Davis Cup and Bathurst 12 hour), but rubbish on main channel :pensive:

Ridiculous isn’t it? Some random doco on the main channel.

Tomorrow morning’s NFL Super Bowl is on both 7 (incl. 7HD) and 7mate from 10am to 4pm AEDST.

The obvious question… why on both channels?

Racing NSW and The Australian Turf Club have reached an agreement with Seven to expand the FTA coverage of Sydney races, starting this weekend. Due to Seven’s Commonwealth Games coverage, The Championships at Randwick will be shown live on 7TWO this year on April 7 and 14, however the rest of the autumn carnival including the Golden Slipper, as well as The Everest in October, will be broadcast on the main channel.

That article indicates that regular Saturday Sydney racing will be on 7TWO and not on a new channel as another media report had speculated.

‘Super Saturday’ 3 channels with sport this afternoon

Interesting set for the races, haven’t seen it before.

I don’t think Todd and Renee are in Canberra, suspect like last week tennis is hosted and called from Melbourne…

It’s seems like they’ve built a new set for racing which makes sense considering the amount of additional NSW & perhaps QLD racing Seven are going to start airing over the coming months

You have screenshots of 4 channels there. If the state-based football of various codes was on would there have been 5?

Superfoiler Grand Prix highlights show starts next Saturday (March 3) at midday on 7mate, according to a promo shown tonight. The 90-minute weekly highlights show will start with the opening race at Adelaide (held on February 2-4) and followed by Geelong (February 9-11), Gold Coast (February 16-18), Busselton (March 2-4) and Sydney (March 23-25).

It’s a 120 min highlight package starting at 11.30am.

Seven Adelaide covered the Adelaide Cup again today at 4pm.

But unlike last year when it was hosted by Bruce Abernethy and some other person (can’t remember who) from the Seven Adelaide studio, this time it was just a simulcast of the Racing.Com feed between 4pm and 4.30pm.

Fox Sports’ Tom Morris said on Sportsday on 3AW that Seven could regain FTA rights to the National Basketball League after nearly 30 years, by becoming one of the part owners of the league.

Is Dwayne aware SBS show the NBL live in HD already?
Can’t wait to see it in glorious SD on 7mate…

On Viceland as well as main channel live in HD for Saturday and Sunday games of the NBL.
