If it’s cheaper living in Bendigo than where you are now, just think of all the wonderful things you could buy from it with your savings while watching!
Bendigo is a nice city too, lots of lovely buildings.

I’m predicting the opposite. Now that Prime has merged into Seven they probably don’t need the additional income.
Once the contract is up I suspect iShop TV disappears.

Is there any way that Seven regional now moves to the 7 channels? Or is that impossible?
Seven needs the revenue!
They’ve done it in regional QLD, so entirely possible (except overlap areas like the NSW Central Coast and Gold Coast).

I reckon if they were moving to LCN 7x, they would’ve done it now with the channel name change.

I would have thought they need the revenue now more than ever. However, it could be a case of Spree and Extra already taking the home shopping revenue for metro areas, so it may not be viable for Brand Developers to expand ishoptv in the end.
I just assumed now they are taking 100% of regional revenue (rather than whatever cut it was under the affiliation agreement) and then cost savings by streamlining operations between metro and regional then it might mean they can afford to drop it.

I doubt it would be worth much revenue wise
They are also using the proper branded templates for the multi-channels now. Previously they used the unbranded and colour variations that were also seen on Prime7 main channel.

I don’t think they could have done it straight up without some educational promos running beforehand eg. “From 1 July, we are moving from Channel 6 to Channel 7. Your TV may require a rescan to pick up the changes”.

Possibly. I honestly think they wouldn’t bother with a campaign with this sort of change. Look at how little they bothered with communicating the change of the actual name of the network. It just happened. But I do understand that LCN changes would have a bigger impact to viewers than the name/brand

Do we think ishoptv may be replaced with openshop?
I really hope they don’t do that. Currently ABC TV Wollongong shares the same LCN as Sydney, sometimes it takes the 2 Spot and pushes Sydney into the 300’s, even with Sydney having a stronger signal. The same would happen if the regional commercials shared the same LCN’s as Sydney.
It is easier and cleaner for them to have their current LCN’s considering how extensive the Wollongong tv signal is across Sydney.
