They could have a contractual obligation with Brand Developers to continue broadcasting it, a bit like WIN’s contractual obligation to continue broadcasting TVSN on 84, hence the 81-83 LCNs for the multi’s instead of 82-84.

Those channels operate under contract for specified periods, so it would be up to Seven as to what they do, when the existing contract reaches expiry.

What are they thinking??? I thought Prime is dead.
Might just be to not tarnish the 7 brand.
Probably just something that we done before they knew when the name was changing and they haven’t updated it - might not bother since the completions ends in a few weeks.
Alternatively, have versions for Prime and 7 as they didn’t know which would go need to air and and traffic have selected the wrong version.

Interesting that Fetch updated the 7mate HD channel but didn’t bother to change the Prime7 tile at the same time. Perhaps they won’t bother. Sky News on WIN still lives on Fetch a year after it ceased.

Looks like that also might still apply to the plethora of Brand Developers overnight on the main channel.
As early tomorrow morning, Brand Developers is still on instead of NBC Today according to the EPG.

Do you think the infomercials that are currently seen on 7 (Prime7) will continue after the commonwealth games or will 7 want consistency in programming and we’ll see what the rest of the 7 Network sees in the early hours of the morning?

I think 7 will align regional NSW, VIC and WA programming with that on 7QLD.

Is this timing something that’s actually confirmed to be happening or just speculation?
The article on TV Blackbox suggests that it’ll be completed in time for the com games, which is in about 3 weeks.
