Seven Regional

so to get the 7 channels you need to rescan?

Yes.

ok thanks for letting us know

The channels rebranded automatically on my TV. No rescan was required. However some of you guys may need to. I’m using a Samsung 32 inch smart TV. To answer your question, I am in the Coffs Harbour market.

Wow!

Bendigo (sorry, capped from a iPad)

New LCNs:

6: 7 Bendigo
60: 7HD Bendigo
61: 7 Bendigo
62: 7two Bendigo
63: 7mate Bendigo
64: 7mateHD Bendigo
65: ishoptv
66: 7flix
68: RACING.COM

Great to see 7mateHD launch, which means we now have the same channels as metro. I hope SCA and WIN follow suit. Interesting to see ishoptv stay though.

Just in time for the Commonwealth Games no doubt. Great outcome for regional viewers.

All they need to do now is transfer play out and rebrand the news.

I hope SCA and Win follow suit.
Yes, can totally agree.
I would love to see SCA launch 10Shake in Darwin, Remote Central, and Spencer Golf.
They should also launch 9Rush in Spencer Golf.
Win should launch 9Rush in Tasmania, Canberra, Southern NSW (including Griffith), eastern SA, regional Victoria, Queensland and WA.
They should also launch 10Shake in eastern SA, regional WA, Griffith, Mildura and Northern NSW.
Same thing applies to Imparja, who needs to launch 9Rush, 9Life and 9HD in remote central.
NBN and NTD haven’t even launched 9Rush, which is disappointing considering that they are both owned by nine.
7HD, 7mate HD and 7flix aren’t available in Griffith, Eastern SA, Spencer Gulf, Tasmania, Darwin, remote central and regional WA.

Foxtel online tv guide yet to change to change prime7 Logo i expect that wont be to far off .

The fact that 7flix still isn’t in TAS is a crime.

7mateHD is available in Regional WA and Remote Central & Eastern, but only because those markets are 12 years behind the rest of Australia.

No changes to channel names in Regional WA, terrestrial or satellite.

7HD (via WIN) has been available in the south east & riverland areas of South Australia since July 1 last year.

Indeed, as well as Spencer, Griffith, Tassie and Darwin. I think @Ethan_Linnett needs to do a bit of research!

Probably a roll out, I would guess WA tomorrow and just a stab in the dark the changes to 7News will be friday… I could be wrong its just a guess…

Unfortunately it’s not that easy for WA. With the virtually the whole state fed by VAST, changes need to be made to the satellite bouquet and then at each of the satellite-to-terrestrial retransmission sites, the latter of which is a much more arduous task.

The last change with WIN switching to Nine and WDT switching to 10 took a while to complete, but I think they had it done in one night (at least with the Tx’s I could access)

Back when full suite of digital channels launched it was a bit of a mess. Some sites had “GO!” and “GEM”, others had “Go!” and “Gem”, Kalgoorlie had “GO” without the exclamation. Nothing is automated or synced with the satellite EIT it seems.
