But it’s only media nerds who get really excited by new graphics. Most viewers would hardly care and some wouldn’t even notice.
These are awesome
AFL promo used the new graphics too
Arguably ditching the old V/Os for new ones is significant and will become noticeable to viewers.
Big part of delivering their promos and launching hits over the years (Heelers, All Saints, Lost, Housewives, Prison Break, Rafters, MKR, and so on).
But at this stage that’s unconfirmed. Has anyone seen a promo or anything tonight voiced by Matt Wills, Sarah Aubrey or Deeksy? All of whom have been there since the start of 2005 or in the latter’s case decades.
This new look screams “In-House” but it does look brighter and cleaner than the previous package. I don’t think the average viewer would really notice anything different but with no idents/launches anymore there’s not a lot to see besides the promos/billboards/PRGs.
Definitely liking the very short ad breaks though! Now if they can make programs start at their advertised times/on time then I’d watch 7 a bit more.
I don’t think so. I think it’s more noticeable than graphics, but not by much honestly.
Really? You don’t think viewers, especially their rusted-on ones won’t notice? No it’s not a big deal, but it’s still a significant change and noticeable. They’re on multiple times, every ad break, every channel, 365 days for many years.
I think your use of this word is where you lose me. Seven changing their name to Aussie Network TV, now that’s significant.
We’re on a long run ad break now.
Pretty much. I don’t think the average viewer would really know the names of network voiceover artists, maybe the likes of John Deeks or Jo Van Es who’re also known for being the voice of TV shows have some name recognition but that’s about it really.
Im surprised the site has not crashed yet
Prime7 ID is hilariously bad.

It had a hiccup about half an hour ago. “She’s at full speed cap’n, I can neigh give her no more”
It must’ve gone close. I was blocked out before.
I think it’s a step in the right direction. We have to remember the network doesn’t have the $$$ to outsource this.
From what I can see, they have used a mixture of modern colour pallets to freshen up the networks to a youthful audience.

I don’t know who Jo is or recognise her voice. John Deeks has been around for so long and appeared on camera over the years so has had a high profile.

No. Not at all what I meant. I didn’t know any of their names until I looked them up in the past.
I mean viewers would be used to / familiar with their voices.
Meh
Im surprised the site has not crashed yet
It did an hour ago, logged me out briefly and said “extreme load”.
