Seven On-Air Presentation

I think if they don’t use BB as the platform to do this it is a MASSIVE missed opportunity

For presentation? Really?

BB is like the first time in a long time I have felt so much hype for a launch of a show

I think so. A lot of people who don’t know Watch seven during that time will. It’s the perfect example to get your new brand in front of them.

I don’t watch seven at all aside from news and I will be turning in.

So $2-$3m is not so much for 7

Thats 3 episodes of a reality show.

It more comes down to ROI - return on investment.

It would be more than that lol. I love how we can just guess a figure like we all know.

Seven haven’t even paid for BB yet cause they can’t afford it… and that’s “only” $20million. They are paying for it after the series airs.

They are strapped of cash. A rebrand could be that same amount or higher as I said I don’t know the levels of investment to rebrand every bloody asset. They are a big company it’s not cheap that I do know… lol

Im not sure changing the logo is needed

But a rebrand is. A new brand. Not just new graphics.

They are 2 different things

I never said they were rebranding… I said they are relaunching… as in their On Air Branding. Ie - presentation lol

I said it’s unlikely it WILL be a new logo. Just new graphics. This logo talk is all hypothetical of people saying it should happen etc. I don’t think IF there is a relaunch tomorrow it will be a logo. Because as I said it’s too expensive and they can’t afford that right now.
I don’t think they need a new logo they need to just learn to use the logo in a new way and innovate it.

If it’s just new graphics, then Seven really are lost

Good luck to them with that strategy, because I think they’re really going to need it!

I highly doubt it.

I’m not really a massive fan of Seven’s current On-Air Presentation package. Personally I preferred their 2016-19 graphics. What I’m sure won’t change in the foreseeable future, but really hope will be updated before overly long are the current graphics/branding for Seven News. Since those minor tweaks were made to coincide with the “Happening Now” promotional push, they look gross.

As for Nine, yeah their current graphics have been around for a while now although I wouldn’t be overly surprised if their next major rebrand will likely coincide with the move to North Sydney - that’s expected to happen sometime around the August/September timeframe, right?

I think Seven would want to keep their current logo in use for another 20 years so it becomes just as an “iconic” part of the Australian media landscape as Nine’s dots or the ABC’s worm/lissajous - at the moment the current Seven logo is long running but not quite at that level.

Well Ten’s previous logo ran for 27 years, despite some changes over the years.

Wonder if new V/Os are in order? Surely not.

It’s not great, but it’s not bad.

I never really got that whole ‘arrow’ 》 theme.

LOL not even close. Try the 15-20 million mark for a corporate re brand.

And this is something 7 doesn’t have in this climate.

Seven needs to hire a marketing and branding agency to freshen up their brand and re-focus them. I don’t mean a logo or graphics. I mean a mission statement. What are they, what do they stand for. What is Seven. They seem so lost

7 are officially clueless.

I will not be surprised if this refresh is just as terrible as this season of Big Brother. I have no hope for Seven anymore.

Did Warburton see a revised graphics package when he was at 10? It was short lived and tacky from memory.
