Seven On-Air Presentation

That’s what Seven News graphics in Sydney and Melbourne didn’t align at all from 2002 to 2004.

This is new… In-program sponsor pop-up (though I thought eBay were sponsoring HR?) Seen during “Forrest Gump”

Intrusive and terrible IMO.

“Shop the look” they say? I don’t mind those balustrades on the awning to be honest, I wonder if they come with free shipping?

Jokes aside, I thought the purpose of the eBay pop up was to provide viewer’s the opportunity to shop the look of what was on screen during House Rules? Perhaps a timing mistake?

Yep this will be a timing mistake.
Someone will be making calls tomorrow!

Another excellent promo for Seven’s friday prime time movie… Just a 5sec “next” with a photo of Tim Robbins for The Shawshank Redemption

Yet last night’s Contagion got a proper promo.

A terrible promo for a movie coming up next. That’s it. I refuse to watch it. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Well hence there was no promo made for it at all airing today or this week. It’s lazy and they’ve been doing it lately for some reason. Budget cuts? Constant programming changes due to coronavirus / The Latest?

From now on, as a protest, I will not watch any movies on television if they have terrible promos. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Aside from Sully and MrTVAus on Twitter, I don’t think anyone really cares about how the networks promote their airings of TV movies these days.

It was short, but I thought it looked good graphically.

It was in the current network presentation “》” style, also looked just like the line-ups they re-introduced a year or two ago (where a full screen and music transitioned "now on 7, now on 7Plus, now on 7flix).

Edit

Tonight’s, terrible:

2 posts were merged into an existing topic: Useful stuff for mocks

Generally networks alócate priorities. A Friday 10th time repeat of a movie would not get any promo time in my book either. Generally it’s assumed that no amount of promo or marketing would move the dial much on ratings. So promo time is allocated to shows where they feel the needle can be moved. It’s pretty common place

How could you create this? Sorry I’m new to everything!

Just screenshots from live stream

I agree. However networks have always made promos for these timeslot, Seven even make a promo (usually just “Next” and short, but still an actual promo) for late night movies too.

Okay. Thanks anyway.
I’ve been looking around and have seen some great mocks such as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-fv93bWLuI
Would you know how to create this?

Didn’t realise these were still airing (at the start of the 8:30pm or 9pm program):
