A “Best of the Best” promo aired in Melbourne last night, featuring the AFL match between Hawthorn and West Coast, MKR alumni challenge and the Australian Swimming Championships. I think it’s a long time a swimming trial gets such attention from a network.
Tonight Seven aired a promo for the Saturday night movie The Grey but with the incorrect time. The promo had the endtag of “Saturday 9.00” which would be the broadcast time for Sydney and Brisbane. In Melbourne the movie will be shown after the AFL.
Tonight during an ad break for MKR, Seven Melbourne showed a promo for the movie The Help, which would air in Sydney this Friday at 8.30pm, while the AFL is on air in Melbourne at the same time. I am not sure what’s going on at BCM which continues to let the incorrect promo to slip through.
Help is also on in perth
Another playout mistake in Melbourne tonight.
During the second last ad break of MKR, the promo for the swimming played saying “Next on 7TWO”, despite the swimming being on the main 7 channel.
In the next ad break, the promo correctly stated "Next on 7"
The swimming was on 7TWO for the first 30 mins in Adelaide for the entirty in Perth, so obviously they’ve just played the incorrect promo.
Just saw a promo on 7mate advertising 7 year switch on tomorrow night “After MKR”. Guess someone didn’t get the memo
I notice 7,mate,two,flix in Perth
Know are shown as 7 perth 7 mate perth 7two perth 7 flix perth
Same case here with Melbourne.
…and Sydney, as of last Wednesday. The LCN name change has most likely affected all metropolitan markets.

Prefer that tbh!
And why don’t we see any of this on air! It shits me. They always choose the basics of a pitch like this.
I posted this in the Home and Away forum but I think I may have posted this in the wrong forum but did anyone in Sydney or Brisbane manage to get a channel 7 recording of Home and Away last night when 7 had their staggered schedule in different cities due to the State of Origin last night. If someone could post this I would really appreciate it. I like admiring Channel 7 and their On-Air Presentation which they don’t make easy to find unless you watch their live feed
For anyone who’s interested, I happened to find these (whilst researching something for another thread).
Seven Network voice-overs:
Sarah Aubrey (promos; female - 2005>)
Matt Wills (promos; male - 2004>)
John Deeks (network broadcast sponsors - 1980s>)

Not sure about the other Seven male V/O though.

The Gold Coast gets its own promo for The Chase
