Seven On-Air Presentation

Now I want to see “ SCTV TAS”, maybe a “ SCTV DARWIN” too!

Another 30 Second version of the “:heart:7 SYD” Promo/Ident campaign:

Also while I’m at it, apparently Andrew Denton will be interviewing an empty seat on next week’s episode of “Interview” judging by the Promo Endtag! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

…and a “Sydney Swans Playing Now” In-Program Promotional Graphic for the AFL telecast on 7mate during Better Homes & Gardens on the main channel:

Perth only city not to feature the new ️ promo

Thanks goodness. :v:

Haven’t seen this before… Seven aired a promo for 7mate’s Sunday movie “The Avengers: Age of Ultron” during tonight’s Dreamtime AFL as an on ground ‘pop up’.

And BCM still being lazy with their promo line-ups. In Melbourne on 7mate, no promo for the movie “Run All Night”, yet there was for Sydney on the main channel, but it was the 7mate version (but wong channel), oops

But of course they get it right for Perth…

Edit 3

A week later, exact same issue still happening

Forgot to mention it the other day, there’s a sponsor billboard on various Seven’s channels where John Deeks actually stylised the brand (as it would be in their actual ad). Great to see V/O going the extra mile to satisfy clients

“This program is brought to you by Koa-aaaaa-laaaaaaaa-aaaaaaaaaa”. To the point of being extremely annoying, but he did it.

If anyone sees it and can record/upload it?

Now I couldn’t really care less, but the only reason I’ve been keeping an eye on it, is to see if it’s consistent, pointing to a systemic issue with their line-ups/systems. And it’s still happening!

Seven’s main channel promo for Pirates of the Caribbean saying “next” aired at 6:23pm in Melbourne on 7mate. And I’ll bet in 5min, a 7mate promo for the same program will air on Seven’s main channel in Sydney.

So it’s like there’s a script error accidentally getting Sydney and Melbourne presentation confused for this specific promo every week, that they don’t realise? Also occurs before the later movie as well.

The correct promo aired on Channel Seven Sydney at 6.56pm:

Thank you for that. Good to see it was correct this time, it was correct in Adelaide too (7mate).

I will try to check later for the other movie, however probably won’t be a 7mate version because of the 10pm start time.

But my point is, as has been discussed in other threads, BCM is clearly at capacity and the move out is warranted.

I know the situation is complex at Seven with different AFL and different markets and therefore different programs around them, plus time zones and multiple regional partners. Hoepfully 7flix will be moved to the new facility too.

I’d say what you’ve seen is more an issue of the traffic scheduler choosing the wrong promo. It’s quite possible that the file names for the main channel and 7mate promos are very similar. (Along the lines of date/program name/channel)

And a symptom of the problem with multi channel payout. Once upon a time ithis would have been picked up by Pres. staff the first time it aired, if not before it aired.

Of course this was probably shown after today’s Midday Movie due to the content, but still something rather interesting nonetheless…

Looks weird though, not the target audience

You really need to buy a $30 TV dongle.

I am sorry. You’re right. I do try to screenshot via live streams, but sometimes it is from a TV. But to be fair, I’m not a vault staff member nor a frequent capture contributor (such as those in the news bulletin threads daily).

Managed to get a RTL-SDR for around $12 direct from China, good if you want to do some FM DXing and then watch TV!

No promo in Melbourne or Adelaide, albeit on 7mate, for yet another Thursday. But there was for Sydney, Brisbane and Perth:

Do you approve of my quality this time @WAtvVideos? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
