Another error tonight, just now, BGT “tomorrow 8:30 on 7” (when everyone in Melbourne watching TFB clearly knows it’s the footy!) Yet had a correct 7mate version earlier for Friday’s movie. Inconsistent.

Seven with a heart logo reminiscent of 10’s Bachelor inspired heart logo. Interesting placement up right for sports.

Was going to say this as soon as I saw it, don’t think the demo for that show is people watching sprint cars.

Surely, it would be a more sensible promotional strategy to selectively promote programs based on the target audience demographics most likely to be watching each event?

It’s a tired/stale looking logo IMO
My favourite (though I may be alone in this!) was when they had the five different logo colours around the time of Sydney 2000

Summer of Love was one of the best promos. I recall the backing music being “I Like Love” by Solitaire. Can’t remember if it was just after the multi coloured logo was retired.

This also marked the start of success for the network, which really started with the Athens Olympics and Blue Heelers station bombing/new team and continued with the '05 Aus Open with Hewitt and Molik’s run, into Lost, Desperate Housewives, DWTS, H&A and the new Friday timeslot BH&G. Also Sunrise, DOND & TT were winning and Seven News soon too.

Very quickly skimming - Adelaide and Melbourne have it on 7two due to AFL - Brisbane has it on the main channel
too much effort to create two separate versions?

We’re talking about the network that cut-back on their promos during COVID, even 7flix used to have new promos each week for the movies, same for 7mate.
Now there’s just the same generic montage promo played for those respective timeslots each week, plus they’ve had to accommodate 7Bravo’s. Must’ve flowed into the main channel too, I mean it’s been noted for example the later Saturday movie hasn’t had regular promos since pre-COVID and 7flix started doing the same, also main channel promos for late night slots which they used to do, not sure if they still do for Sunday’s various crime docos/specials.
It must be saving them money, maybe got rid of a number of staff? But I agree, viewers are worse off for it and can make finding programs or start times a bit confusing.
