I also saw immediately prior to L&O, ident and Fox ender (for The Simpsons) played in the wrong order.
P.S.: Tonight’s episode of L&O was the original pilot for the series, it was made about two years prior to the first season.

sometimes less is more. People hate annoying pop ups.
I noticed that during House of Wellness it looked like their graphics had been designed with 7’s watermark and PRG in mind; it actually had potential as a new PRG for Seven.
However then there was this
Heard the 3 music notes at the end of the horse racing yesterday, with the “ 7 home of sport” end board. Is that new for sport?
No, Seven’s AFLW broadcast has been using the 3 music notes for the past couple of years.
It’s not a “very special night” - it’s just another repeat.
Plus a slight exaggeration re We Interrupt This Broadcast.
When can we have truth in TV promos?
I think that went out the door when the TV networks let all their programming (not just the live stuff) run overtime…
What is that “Breaking News” crawler crap being used in the Aus Idol promos now, overly intrusive and unnecessary, seems ultimate desperation.
Is there a reason why a lot of Aussie (commercial network) promos have such bogus, tacky taglines like this? It gives the ick from an outsider’s perspective.
But for how long?
Well, it does say one action packed Tuesday
Just saw a Seven movie ID for the upcoming theatrical release of Fast X (AKA Fast & Furious 10) at 8pm on 7mate, with Vin Diesel and Jason Mamoa revving up for a drag race and the “7” logo featured with the slogan “Bring It On!’ Also, Zampakid posted caps of the promo for F&F 9’s FTA first run in another thread. @TV.Cynic
7flix’s promos have changed, there’s now a generic (various versions/lengths) running across the network for “movies every Wednesday to Saturday” with grabs from multiple movies. Looks like timeslot/title specific promos for this channel won’t air anymore, maybe budget cuts, unless there’s still one airing separately for one of the Friday and Saturday night ones which there had also usually been. Possibly also reflective of the quality of the channel now and how it has been rating and also used for failed main channel reality shows.

Also, what I assume is a rare error, saw a full-length promo for Spiderman: Homecoming on 7mate (some markets) which incorrectly said “tomorrow” but then in the end-tag also correctly said “tonight”. @TV.Cynic
Saw another new ID tonight, this time cross-promoting the new Spider Man: Across the Spider-verse movie which will be released on Thursday in cinemas. Looked really good, animated, colourful and flashy. Seven have been airing all the movies available in recent weeks too, as well as no doubt being sponsored by the local distributor.

Can’t recall 7+ having done that before, even during the recent Olympics, Winter Olympics and Comm Games? As their domestic summer cricket and AFL of course don’t have rights, yet.
It’s similar to the Kayo version, however no music. Expecting to see lots more of this as the AFL and Cricket streaming starts in the next few years.
