Seven News (TAS)

It has to be the woodchip pile or the French fries on the Bass Highway.

Very impressed with the new look too.

Yeah you’re right I was looking at a cross from Melbourne that I thought was from TAS.

15 minutes is quite a good turnaround from my feedback they wouldn’t have thought of, going and getting a photo of Launceston and making the graphic from scratch.

Good work team!

Nah it’s gotta be a shot of a random street in Shorewell Park. True location of Burnie culture.

Completely new weather graphics and extra things like wind gusts and 7 day forecasts. No more current temps and I didn’t see Devonport in today’s temps which had better get rectified,

Nice to have an actual photo instead of just clouds.

Yep weather looks way nicer. I think the remote clicker is new I don’t recall seeing that before?

BTW it’s still the old title card on 7plus.

Did Hobart and Launceston get similar outlooks?

I mean you’d think so wouldn’t you?

Yes, they were on the first page.

Sorry a bit late but found how on the Discourse support forum.

If you have many images in a Discourse post, you can now have them automatically arranged into a nice grid. All you need to do is wrap them in [grid] … [/grid] tags, and the images will be neatly arranged. This is a core feature as of this commit, enabled on all Discourse instances. …The grid defaults to 2 columns…

TBH when I saw that there were 50 new posts, I thought it was just more endless speculation about when they would do the relaunch

Anyway, new look is great, though perhaps they could’ve kept the white on the set as it looks better IMO.

Doing that would take the bulletin back to the SCA days. The old white was more of a Blue-White so that’s definitely not happening. Having it a bit more Red-White screams Seven/7NEWS, and that makes sense.

lovely to finally see 7NEWS Tasmania in place now!

Just noticed that Kim did the news and sport. I’m guessing the sports will be done from the desk rather than the newsroom but is there room for Nick or another presenter? Hopefully we haven’t lost a sports presenter.

Congrats to the whole 7TAS team, such an exciting time, feels like Tasmania is slowly starting to join the rest of the country.

Don’t they still have 10 News First? :stuck_out_tongue:
