Surely Wilkinson can’t come back from this now? Well and truely over stepped the mark from journalist to personal involvement.
A source at Seven has reportedly confirmed the interview, and told The Daily Telegraph that it will be airing on 7News Spotlight.
This program is getting the good scoops this year. And the ratings are showing it.
Great journos behind it too. Charles Woodley, Musher. Giving 60 mins a run for its money
It really is.
Surely Running Spotlight at 7 and Dancing after is a better option -Dancing has had its time.
I imagine the content of Spotlight may not always be suited to 7.00, plus a better flow from Spotlight to The Latest.
Excellent investigation by Spotlight.
The collusion revealed was damning. Labor’s Federal Finance Minister Katy Gallagher arranged payment of $3 million to Higgins despite Higgins’ unproven allegations and sought to cover up her involvement in the plot.
She will be forced to resign in a bid to contain the damage.
60 mins looking quite lightweight this week with an ACA style Tom Steinfort story on social media and wellness.

Well it’s definite now… her career in television is over.
All by her own doing though.
She broke the number one rule of journalism.
Obviously none of us know exactly what happened that night at Parliament House, but over the past couple of years we’ve heard many stories either from Brittany Higgins directly or from her supporters, including Lisa Wilkinson. I’m not taking sides here because I don’t know the truth, but Bruce Lehrmann’s name will forever be tarnished whether the incident happened or not, so surely he has the right of reply, whether he ‘improperly used’ evidence or not?
A big problem also is the issue became a political football. No one ever wins.
