Those shots really up the leather Muppet factor to levels not seen since Tim Bailey.

Also, looks like he’s enjoyed being prodded from under the table.

Seven Local News Sunshine Coast has had three nights of lives crosses to the Australian Surf Life Saving Championships during sport this week.

Gotta love local news - man on drinking tour takes the Big Pineapple train on a joyride and derails and crashes it; didn’t quite make the national news but it was lead story on Sunshine Coast.

There’s still Sunrise…

…and next week’s episode of Have You Been Paying Attention? for good measure! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

With 7 hours of live television on each channel tomorrow morning, I’ve got no doubt this will make a fun headline.

Thursday 20 May -
Joanne Desmond presented the weather in all regions. - which is interesting because she has never presented weather before and read the news. Also, apparently “Livio couldn’t make it tonight”

She has done the weather once or twice before.

Jo has definitely done the weather on other occasions.
Livio “couldn’t make it” because of a last minute problem with the link between BTQ and Maroochydore studios.
Livio works one day each week at the BOM in Brisbane and the weather segments are sent to Maroochydore from BTQ between 1700-1730.

How the end of the bulletins work in double header markets?

Don’t worry…watched online. Lol. Livios next…no hes not.

In double-presenter regions, it was revealed that Sunshine Coast reporter (and Jo’s fill-in presenter) Katie Toney leaves 7QLD. From 28:42 of the video, the recorded one-take-fits-all closer extended a bit for this occasion.

First time watching Saturday night tv free to air in a very long time, news updates coming from Brisbane and ads for the 6pm Brisbane news on 7 Sunshine Coast.

Yep I believe that’s been the case for quite a while as Seven’s local news doesn’t run during the weekend.

Would’ve thought that’s what Seven Queensland have always done on the weekends…

Presumably in the past they’d have overlaid the endcard of Brisbane updates with a ‘weeknights at 6:30’ variant in local news areas?
