They are not influencers, so they miss out

Maternity Leave? I think she only recently had a baby

Jelisa Apps managed to get a quick chat with Jon Bon Jovi outside London’s Wembley Stadium last night, as the Kangaroos players were training inside ahead of their first Ashes test against England. Bon Jovi then went into the stadium to meet some of the players.

Who has replaced Matt Carmichael?

I think they’re just alternating/rotating between whoever is available; as an example, Tom Sacre presented sport last night and tonight.

Lol wot.

Reminiscent of 2013 - 2014 when they got Giaan Rooney and Jo Silvagni to do the weather. Simon Pristel, is that you?

It would be nice if Seven actually got a proper weather presenter to fill in.

Kay McGrath with a report for Weekender. It covered the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre’s 30th anniversary and included a clip from a BTQ special from 30 years ago that showed a tour of the facility also hosted by Kay.

Now that 97.3 KIIS has sacked its breakfast team, 7 should snap up Corey Oates for 2026.

It could prove a masterstroke, especially with Seven airing the Rugby League World Cup next year (as they also did in 2013 and 2017).

When Seven signed Shane Webcke immediately after the Broncos won the premiership (2006), the following year they reclaimed ratings supremacy in the Brisbane market (though I put this down to them poaching John Schluter and Sharyn Ghidella from Nine).

Though this time, Oates doesn’t have a premiership to show for it.
