Reports in the Advertiser today suggest Sarah Cumming may be returning to 7 in Adelaide. They could do with a decent presenter in the mix so they’re not having to rely on the weathergirls as much.
Though I feel 10 should snap her up and move the bulletin home for good.
Ainsley Koch has returned tonight in Victoria.
Sarah who was treated poorly by ATN towards the end of her time there. Hopefully if she does return she will be utilized.
IIRC, she went on maternity leave towards the end of 2015 and was quietly replaced by David Brown, who himself was treated poorly by HSV during the 2012-13 summer break when he too was quietly replaced by Giaan Rooney (I think it was? I know she and Jo Silvagni had one-year stints presenting the weather in Melbourne before Jane Bunn took over in 2015).
According to Inside Mail, insiders at Seven say that they have no idea how Christie Cooper is back after launching a campaign against the network, and that staff are furious and feel unsafe.
Grace Fitzgibbon posted on her Instagram this morning that she would be on maternity leave, and also reflected on hosting Bright Side on the Sydney 6pm bulletin for the past 12 months. She said Amy Clements would take over the segment in the interim.

Mike Amor presenting solo in Melbourne tonight.
In an interview with Sunday Confidential in The Sunday Telegraph, Grace revealed that she would call her first baby Frankie Jack, as a tribute to her younger brother Lance Corporal Jack Fitzgibbon, who died in a military training accident in March 2024. Grace’s baby is due on Christmas Day.

Strange report from Christie Cooper last night that was two separate reports joined together. From memory the report was about Oasis and at the beginning of the report she was wearing pink(?) with her hair tied up and at the end of the report she was wearing a blue outfit with her hair down.
Found the report. Christie was wearing pink during the live cross, but was in blue in the pre-recorded portion.
I’m not sure that matters. It’s understandable that you might get changed between your PTC and your live cross.

She wore a blue dress suit during the package and a jacket for the live X, which would have been a bit cooler. And as you can see, it was very windy, so her hair was tied up. No big deal
