I’ve also noticed that Robert Ovadia has done a live cross to Ann Sanders from the newsroom at the start of the Sydney 4pm bulletin every day this week, reporting on the latest on the coronavirus in Victoria or the impact it had in New South Wales.
Angie presenting Sydney’s weather too? Long day for her.
Mike Amor is presenting in Melbourne tonight (he also did the 4pm news).
On Sydney’s Afternoon News, Alex Hart threw back to Ann at the end of his package about the NSW Labor leadership. Sally was noticeably unimpressed.

Estelle Griepink is presenting weather on Afternoon News and 6pm News in Melbourne filling in for Melina Sarris.

Estelle Griepink was presenting the weather from the balcony of violinist/musician Patrick Roberts apartment in South Yarra, Patrick has been performing from his balcony to lift the spirits of his neighbours during this lockdown.
Another new reporter at 7 Adelaide, there’s been a few in recent weeks.
I appreciate that they were trying something different here but it was very annoying and distracting.
Almost as annoying as Jacqui Felgate when she is reading sport.
How does this even happen?
I assume it was pre-recorded? A decent editor should have picked it up.
Is Jane Doyle working 6 nights a week in Adelaide these days?
Monday 07th June -
Angie Asimus is presenting the Morning News.
I noticed last night that she was doing the unprecedented thing of reading news on Sunday night!
And over here in Perth, it was Tina Alteri presenting.
7/6/2021 Angie is also presenting the afternoon news in Sydney.
Andrew McCormack presented sport on the Morning News today.
It looked like he did it from a smaller studio or a green screen somewhere else in the HSV-7 building as the backdrop was different to the normal one in Melbourne, and Jacqui Felgate was hosting coverage for Melbourne of the coronavirus press conference in the main news studio.

As mentioned last week, baseless speculation on the employment status of any presenter is pointless and won’t be allowed here.
No one’s said anything about that today (besides me, but the post I wrote wouldn’t load on the page so I doubt anyone saw it)
