She doesn’t do national finance. Each state seems to read from the desk.

I checked last night and the finance segment was done from the desk in Sydney and Brisbane.
But you’re right I check some other nights and there were pre-recorded finance segments run. In Sydney they seem to have no intro or opening slide. Though one in Brisbane did have the intro.

The whole presentation looks dreadful for the finance segment specifically given that grapichs etc are shown in the space with the presenter still visible on screen with graphs being angled which makes it harder to read. The graphs etc should be full screen.
Gemma Acton has a finance background Angela does not so they may as well just get the main presenters to present the finance segment while Gemma is away. Even though I like Angela Cox as a presenter and have been enjoying her presenting the 6pm news in Sydney.
