Nope she’s done it for a day here and there during summer, but she’s not done it in quite a while. I don’t think Elseth lets any of the other girls near it usually but she’s on her honeymoon.

Yeah it’s usually Elspeth that’s third in line, although she seems to of been doing more reporting, with Gertie and Casey reading the weekend 5pm news. Tbh would rather Andrea be thrid in line than Elspeth. Elspeth seems better reporting imo.

Rosanna Mangiarelli and Will Goodings are back this week in Adelaide presenting 6pm. Mark Soderstrom also back presenting weeknight sport.

Usually it’s Mike Smithson (Mon-Wed) and Elspeth Hussy (Thu & Fri), with Gertie, Casey, Andrea and Tom filling in when necessary. Obviously Mike has been filling in for Rosanna and Will over summer, which mean’s Elspeth has been doing Mike’s usual bulletins.

Andrea should at least do the 5pm weekend bulletins, which Elspeth doesn’t do anymore (Casey & Gertie share them). However, this may cause an issue with her being the state political reporter.

Would be a waste to bring her in for that. Smitho should just do both. Weather presenters should stick to the weather.

Who thinks that Rebecca Maddern and Mike Amor should be promoted to weeknights to go head to head with Alicia Loxley and Tom Steinfort on Nine? In my opinion the weekend team on Seven is much better than the weeknight team. It’s a real shame that there aren’t 8 days in a week so we can have Peter Mitchell present 4 days a week and Rebecca Maddern and Mike Amor the other 4 days.
Honestly if David Brown wasn’t shafted from his role as weeknight weather presenter in 2013, then he’d still be at the network today as the weeknight weather presenter with Jane Bunn on weekends. Jane Bunn would also be lined up as his successor. I also think they should’ve got Jennifer Keyte to co present with Peter Mitchell.

No way. Peter Mitchell is doing just fine reading the news by himself. Seven News rates well in Melbourne, there is no need to make reactive decisions like that.
