Gold Coast this week Steve Titmus was absent on Thursday and Friday - seems strange way to try to get viewers used to a new team after just one week.
The V/O intro for Thursday and Friday was only “with Amanda Abate” in contrast to how Nine annonces both presenters regardless of who is there.
Not a good look - second week into the new job and taking 2 days off.

As a father, watching your Olympic champion daughter get the keys to a city, would be an occasion worth being at. Especially given he was unable to be at the Games themselves.
“Not a good look?” - that would be Seven refusing to let him attend.
Perhaps not the best timing - but he had a great reason to be away.
Saturday (18.09.2021): Despite promises earlier in the bulletin that he’d appear, Paul Burt was a no show tonight. Liz Cantor ended up presenting Brisbane’s weather from the Gold Coast this evening.

Angela Cox presented the 5pm news and Amber Laidler presented Sydney’s weather.
Looks like Amber is officially the third in-line weather presenter in Sydney as Samantha Brett is on extended leave.
I think she much better and more relatable then Samanther Brett. Brett is a good reporter but not that great as a weather presenter.
Not necessarily. That would be a private arrangement between employee and employer for a very unique moment.
Sunday 19th September -
Andrew McCormack presenting sport in Melbourne, with Jacqueline Felgate co-hosting Brownlow Medal.
Estelle Griepink presenting weather.
Susannah Carr and Adrian Barich were at the main Brownlow Medal function in Perth.
20/9/2021 Syan Dougherty is presenting weather in Perth again tonight.
Seven News reporter Paul Dowsley and his cameraman were attacked live on air on Seven’s Morning News this morning, and covered in urine by what he labelled ‘professional protesters’.
It truly was a disgraceful attack.
He had urine poured all over him and his cameraman.
No fan of Dowsley but those actions were disgusting. No on deserves that, not even the media.
Ann Sanders did a good job with the rolling coverage, as did Nathan Templeton and Paul Dowsley.

Angie Asimus presented Afternoon News in Sydney today (Ann still did the Morning News). Also, Matt Shirvington has been presenting sport in Sydney this week.
Does no one on here regularly watch Seven’s Sydney bulletin anymore? Not too long ago you’d find presenter updates posted instantly.
23/9/2021 Sam Jolly is back presenting weather in Perth, though I don’t know if she returned last night or tonight (I didn’t watch last night’s bulletin).
Basil Zempilas is presenting sport from outside Optus Stadium, and has been doing so this week (on Monday he presented from inside).
