It was announced on Sunrise this morning that their Melbourne Reporter David Woiwod will join the team in the US to become a Correspondent for the network. Today is his last day at Seven Melbourne before heading to the US.

I wonder if he’ll have to quarantine for a fortnight in Los Angeles before formally beginning his role; if that’s the case, I’d like to think we won’t see him on screen in his new role for at least a month.

Meanwhile on 7 News in Adelaide a few days ago veteran reader Jane doyle made a big mistake by saying ‘48 months’ instead of ‘48 hours’ when referring to the rapid increase in Victorian coronavirus cases but she quickly corrected herself and apologized. Jane you are a silly girl.

You would think she would just return to reporting in Sydney, like what Laurel Irving did (but in Melbourne) when she returned from overseas.
