Mark Beretta presented sport on the 5pm News and Sydneyâs 6pm. Sally Bowrey did Sydneyâs weather.
Pat Welsh presented Brisbane sport tonight.

Rick and Sue come as one and they donât present on weekends which is what my post mentioned. Im talking about what the justification is for having Tim McMillan on weekends with Angela. He is a great addition but there was really no need especially when you have financial issues at the network.

I think that Sally Bowrey now permanently does Sydneyâs weather on a Sunday, David Brown only seems to be working Monday-Thursday at the moment

If Ann Sanders is on holidays and away all week, I doubt Angela Cox will present all four days (Monday-Thursday) since she also works Saturday & Sunday doing the 5pm news. It will be interesting to see who else could present the Morning News & Sydney Afternoon News this week if Angela couldnât do all four days.
She has pretty much been the only fill-in presenter for those two bulletins this year (with the exception of Chris Reason a few times at the start of the year). Youâd think Sally Bowrey, Chris Reason, Mike Amor from Melbourne, or even Robert Ovadia might get a go presenting one of those days this week.
Anyways time will tell.

Jim Wilson also presented Sport during the 6pm bulletin, you think weâll most likely see him on-air every night until his departure on Saturday?
Unsurprisingly, there was not one single mention during the bulletin as to why the Sports presenter that Seven News Sydney viewers saw last night wasnât on tonight!

Phelanâs departure from the network as a result of the domestic violence accusation was mentioned in a v/o report about half way through the Sydney bulletin.

Admittedly I only skimmed through the bulletin (Can you blame me, knowing what Seven News Sydney is like these days?), but I did look back through the recording and found it:
Very low key stuff. Personally Iâd be interested to know if/how 10 News First and especially Nine News Sydney covered the story!

So in the space of two weeks, four experienced presenters (Ryan Phelan, Jim Wilson, Jessica Adamson, Tim Noonan) will have left Seven. Cost-cutting is taking its toll at the network.
