I get it. I just genuinely wonder whether they should be there. A lot of the reports over the last few days have seen her in really bad situations, prompting âstay safeâ comments from the anchors. I dunno, itâs a bit like reporters going into bad weather/cyclone zones. I just donât think itâs needed.
Maybe Natalie Barr will return to that position like before.
As for Jodie well she could potentially fit in on Friday Morning/Afternoon news (with Sally focussing on Weekend Sunrise). Sally Bowrey isnât the greatest newsreader these days and Jodie might be a better choice.

Good that the PM has spoken out against the violence but I donât think American authorities will care about Australian journalists being attacked any more than they care about the dozens of other journalists who have found themselves in similar situations.
