Seven News Melbourne (6.38) repackaged a Sunrise Report on streaming service MAX launching a new show. Clearly this was a paid advertisement.
Is this really suited to the news? It really is trashing the bulletin.

Back on air after break and final segment aired successfully- weather and Sunnyside. Max apologised for the technical difficulties. Then made a joke at the end, “Hope your night is going smoothly.”

And later in the bulletin, an Australia Post story on staff abuse failed to play, Amanda Abate’s super came up but an earlier Metro Tunnel transit story started playing again, before abruptly stopping and Peter Mitchell apologising.

Has the lighting in Brisbane changed? Doesn’t look as dim on the flooring - especially at the front of the desk.

Yeah when Melbourne got that new set, I realised that Brisbane’s desk is different. I wonder if that would make a difference?
Melbourne also don’t have the standing platforms, but they space looks better than what Brisbane do with the space.

You have to laugh, god that looks absolutely crap. They either don’t care or can’t see how simply shifting the camera over a bit would make the desk look way less small and stupud.

It’s a cheap and nasty replica of the Syd/Melb set and it’s blatantly obvious.
Melbourne is similar with the lack of flooring elements but looks so much better than this.
