Adelaide will get its own local Afternoon News this Monday (Adelaide Cup Day). There’s an ‘early edition’ local 7 news titlecard as part of this promo. Afternoon Edition might have sounded better given it starts at 4:20 pm though.

Rick Ardon presenting in Perth tonight from what it looks if a different studio (perhaps Melbourne?) where Sue presented a few weeks ago.
Also different V/O tonight, “This is Seven News, with Rick Ardon.” like Sue’s as well.

Seems to be a lot of effort just for one night? Couldnt present from Kings Park or something?
However it does look 100% better coming out of Melbourne.

I agree as I stated before when Sue was sent to Melbourne there is GWN7, the newsroom and Adelaide. They could of got Blake Johnson to present from Melbourne as he is well known in WA

MEL-PER has more daily flights then any other route, probably easier to move presenters back and forth as a result compared to Adelaide.

There was a technical stuff up with the sound with the cross to Deputy Premier Lisa Harvey, when Geof Parry asked a question to her, she had lost sound but they just laughed it off and said it was LIVE TV in the raw
