Just caught up on some of the Sydney bulletin on 7plus to see what the dynamic was like with the new presenting team and bulletin segments.

I did find it strange when Angie Asimus threw to Sally for the weather preview before the last break asking something along the lines of “the big chill hit today, is it going to get any better?”

Just seemed odd for Angie to be directed to ask that given viewers expect her to know the answer as Angie is the normal weather presenter. Undermines her credentials as weather presenter IMO. Get Michael to ask the question, not Angie.

That’s nice, good on ya Brucey :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: Didn’t someone suggest Seven should do something like this the other day?

Why couldn’t Nine News have used some graphics like this for the Olympics!

Seven must really be worried, from that promo in Brisbane to wheeling out Mr Olympics! Desperate IMO.

Hopefully Bruce is still involved in the games (either on Seven or ABC Radio), when Brisbane 2032 comes around.

He’ll be 79 by then. He may just want to retire and enjoy watching them.

Fair enough - however, hopefully if he’s still up for something there will be someone willing to have him on board.
