Why are the Supers blue, when the Headlines are red? Inconsistent much?

Opener has the potential to look nice on screen - not sure about the gold though as it isn’t really consistent with any other colours during the news broadcast.
Someone at 7 Perth is in alot of trouble for having these air I assume!

Not really, they always the first when it comes to seeing a new look. Most launch at 6pm while 7 News Perth tends to launch them during hourly updates. Usually the Update Super for Perth is usually the first time we see a new package. I expecting the headlines supers to stay the same with maybe the red box changed to blue. Guess we wait and see. All I can hope is they update the virtual set in Perth but not expecting to see any changes. Would be nice too to see new weather graphics.
The 7 News bug is bit bigger than the previous. So will be all new supers. The Mission is the same 2016 version.

Like the look of the titles (a little bit retro with the gold!) but my god, Seven, what is going on with the blue in the supers?
And no doubt they will use the same antiquated image for Sydney’s titlecard.
I think they’ve made a conscious decision to hand control of set design over to local teams - look at the new Gold Coast set for example.
I expect Melbourne will be left to come up with their own design when the time comes which, judging by some of the local graphics they come up with down there, probably won’t be very pretty.

Judging by the pictures posted, a rather ordinary update to the titlecard!
Knowing that there is at least one other Australian TV news service which has an On-Air Presentation relaunch planned in the foreseeable future, hopefully their graphics designers don’t get any ideas from Seven News!

Seems they took some NBC inspiration.
Here is NBC Nightly News from last Friday. Things like the glass tiles that animates into the NBC Nightly News logo it seems Seven has done something similar.
I know Seven Perth has a bulletin at 3:30pm WA time.
The graphic on the Sydney/national desk was changed on the bulletin now on in Adelaide.

My god that looks terrible. Couldn’t they at least have made those pale blue sections on either side of the plasma a dark blue/black to match everything else?
It used to just be a light box with those vile turquoise graphics like the side walls.

Judging by posts above, Adelaide is getting it…
I think its only shown in Gold Coast, Adelaide and Perth.
Live in Gold Coast and Adelaide, 30 min delay in Perth at 3:30 local time.
But everywhere in the TV Guides I saw, its all listed as “Seven News at 4” despite not going to air anywhere at that time.
