Considering you’ve posted almost exclusively in Seven News topics for the past nine months it would certainly appear you have some kind of axe to grind with them.

Most likely yes. Not good though to push this story the third block. No live crosses on the Melbourne bulletin tonight either. Seems Sydney is getting priority at the moment.
I think I have posted numerous times and explained how seven news is pretty much the only commercial news service I have watched on a regular, almost daily basis for 20 + years. So I feel much more qualified to comment on it, than any others.
I don’t even look in the 9, Ten & SBS threads these days.

I wish Sydney would occasionally do standing presentations like this for big, breaking stories (just for the first few stories and then return to the desk) but I don’t think I’ve ever seen Fergo stand to present?

7 Brisbane promo puts a watermark on footage of the attack on their camera operator that was recorded by a US network and can be viewed on-line from multiple sources watermark-free.
While the national promo that was broadcast earlier has no watermark as well. Must be a QLD thing.

Melbourne seem to be using the Docklands skyline camera for the left side of the screen as a backdrop at the start of the bulletin alongside the normal one on the right side of the screen,

Maybe because it was recorded that day, for that bulletin. Also the bottom one is from Adelaide.
No not the live shot of Docklands along side the usual city shot as an opening backdrop. They haven’t done that since the Sunbeam set days.
Lately the Docklands live shot has only been used for the weather segment

Not sure if this happened nationally, but Melbourne 4pm just lead with a video of a four wheel drive ramming through police lines in the USA… This vision first emerged yesterday and was featured on the ABC’s 7pm bulletin last night… 7 portrayed it, as if it had just happened, with a ‘breaking news’ wipe and everything. Not good.

Queensland had the same opening story at 4pm but without breaking news wipe. Agree it was definitely yesterday’s news.
