what
Pretty sure Scott Morrison detailed a plan to reopen the economy.
And as big as the story was. There was no need for a special bulletin at 11.30, and if there was, it was executed poorly.
Agree to disagree.
“soldiers”?? ridiculous over-writing which is something they do a lot of now - the tone used to be a lot more measured, now it’s over wrought more often than not.
I can see why they did their own bulletin - fair chance Sydney wasn’t going to lead with the police tragedy so they went their own way. Still think they’re getting bogged down with this kind of thing and 4pm instead of focussing on the main game at 6pm
I know I’ve mentioned this - but another 7 News Sydney ad ran in Melbourne this morning during Sunrise.
Seriously.
Again, not a massive deal but it happens so often! It is obviously part of the advertising plan to run these local 7 News ads with the relevant presenters in each market to promote them so if that is important it must be important enough to run the right ad!
Minor blooper this morning.
Voiceover said “This is Seven News with Ann Sanders” when it was Sally Bowrey presenting.
Wonder what will happen with Sydney’s afternoon news then…
Not really major - the bulletin wasn’t a disaster just because of that V/O mistake…
True, but then again, the opener makes an impression. You’d want to have a good impression, therefore you would need to have a good opener. But if they use the wrong v/o, starts to drift towards making a bad impression.
SWM’s depressed valuation has led to some tough decisions in recent weeks. I think that’s shown in a number of little off-kilter things from Sunrise to the local news as mentioned recently in the relevant threads. Wonder how long they’ll be able to keep morale up?
Looks like that was edited out for online: https://youtu.be/qTaiKuvU_tQ
The online one is a special online editionof 7News.
Saturday 25 April-
Mike Amor is presenting Melbourne 6pm bulletin from the Shrine of Remembrance tonight.
That set is an absolute mess to look at, way too much going on with different headers, panels, screens, materials… Besides STW’s green screen atrocity, this is the worst physical set in the country at the moment. Not counting on an upgrade anytime soon though with their financial situation.
Sooo…blue
Even their regional QLD set looks better.
Sorry but I find it warmer than the cold sterile looking set on 9 Brisbane.
The blue on the Seven Brisbane set is quite cold and uninviting, personally.
Plus that projector screen at the back is seriously burnt out and looks extremely messy.
