Seven News Content and Appearance (2015-2020)

Monika needs to disappear when TT does.

Monika Kos and Rosanna Mangiarelli are both very good presenters. It’s just a pity they have to front this kind of bullsh*t these days. Why don’t Seven front them on local afternoon news?

Well that was interesting… Bit of a blooper in Perth tonight, since they were cutting it close with Men In Black II about to start, Angela Tsun did the regular “That’s Seven News for now, stay on Seven for the Saturday Night Movie, Men In Black II”, the closing theme played, but the desk zoom out was skipped, and so was the story montage video at the end, it just stayed on Angela Tsun’s smiling face.

But the cameras continued to roll, and there was a delay on the credit Graphic. Angela was still seen shuffling her papers, then proceeded to say “Wow”. I think a producer told her in her earpiece that they were cutting it close with the time, to she replied “You could of told me!” then it cut to the movie. Felt like the cameras would never stop rolling! :joy:

Looks like Seven was serious on copyrighted materials. Is that why you’ve taken down/deleted much of Seven News-related uploads that I usually played on Youtube all over again?

I privated all the Seven-related clips (and left unlisted the recent clips I did want to share with Media Spy) when I heard that Seven was getting a new content rights manager a few months back - obviously concerned that they might strike my channel.

I hope to make the content public for all again at some point in the future.

‘You should have told me to just… speed it up’

Was quite funny actually.

Yea, that’s right, I felt like there was something I missed, it just happened unexpectedly, I was like, “is this really happening right now” :joy:

Do they not have a clock counting down the last 30/10 seconds of the bulletin in Perth? Seems to be a fairly standard feature of news studios around the world to help the anchor time themselves out.

Must have been a miscommunication somewhere along the line.

Oh. I hope he won’t go serious on your channel, as well as those uploaded by @Zampakid and others. It would be even worse if Nine and Ten followed suit.

I am watching some of the Seven News bulletins from last night on Plus7. Must say it is so much better than 9NOW, in that you don’t have to sit through hundreds of ads, only one at the start. :+1:

I think Angela Tsun will be a great replacement, and who is to say, that Blake Johnson’s move to Melbourne is not to strengthen his presenting skills, and will return to Perth when Rick leaves.

I still do not believe that Angela should have been removed from the weather in the first place because she’s the only person on Seven in Perth who seems to have any sort of background weather knowledge and could be trusted in extreme weather events when they happen in Perth. Monika should certainly be the way to go with Sue’s replacement when she goes and get rid of TT altogether. By the way, does anyone know where Sue is at the moment? I believe it’s been several weeks since we saw her last and her and Rick will never break the record for the longest serving news duo at this rate!!

I think Blake’s move to Melbourne, will help him build on a national profile. There’s more chance of him taking on a foreign correspondent role for the network.

You have to remember he is only 32 years old and is the perfect age to take over Peter Mitchell’s position within 10 years time.

TONIGHT AT 6 | Some sort of advertorial fluff that belongs in something far below the network’s flagship news bulletin for the evening.

I realise Sunday is largely a slow news day but this sort of “news” is appearing with startling regularity across the week. This is not news.

3 weeks sue has been on leave
the record takes into account years not days worked together
which is only a week or 2 away

Has it only been 3 weeks? It feels like it’s been longer than that.

As previously seen on 7 News Queensland 4 days ago

oh, so it isn’t even current it’s old “news”

For goodness sake, they axed Today Tonight for most of us but the content lives on…

Is it any wonder news viewing numbers are on the decline.
